და მანამდე [მუსას დაბრუნებამდე] ჰარუნმა უკვე უთხრა მათ [ისრაელის შთამომავლებს]: «ო, ჩემო ხალხო! თქვენ ამით [ამ ხბოთი] მხოლოდ გამოიცდებით [რათა გამოაშკარავდნენ თქვენ შორის მორწმუნენი და ურწმუნონი]. და უეჭველად, თქვენი უფალი არის მოწყალე (ალლაჰი); მაშ, გამომყევით მე და დაემორჩილეთ ჩემს ბრძანებას [ალლაჰის მცნებების შესრულებაში]!»

और निःसंदेह हारून उनसे पहले ही कह चुका था : ऐ मेरी जाति के लोगो! बात यह है कि इसके द्वारा तुम्हारी परीक्षा की गई है और निश्चय तुम्हारा पालनहार रहमान (अत्यंत दयावान् अल्लाह) ही है। अतः मेरा अनुसरण करो तथा मेरे आदेश का पालन करो।
