‘তোমরা কি আশ্চর্য হচ্ছো যে, তোমাদের রবের পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের মধ্য থেকেএক ব্যক্তির নিকট উপদেশ এসেছে, যাতে সে তোমাদেরকে (কঠিন শাস্তি হতে) সতর্ক করে, আর যাতে তোমরা তাঁকে ভয় করো এবং যাতে তোমরা (তাঁর প্রতি ঈমান এনে) রহমতপ্রাপ্ত হও’?

E on kaawa fii waajo no ari on immorde ka Joomi mon e dow gorko jeyaaɗo e mo'on?! Fii yo o jertin on e fii yo on ndeento, mbelejo'o, on (keɓat) yurmeende [Alla].
(ნუჰმა თქვა): «ნუთუ გიკვირთ, რომ თქვენი უფლისგან შეგონება მოვიდა თქვენთან თქვენიდანვე ერთი ადამიანის მეშვეობით, რათა გაფრთხილებდეთ, რათა მოერიდოთ და რათა შეწყალებულნი იყოთ?».
Wundert ihr euch etwa (darüber), dass eine Erinnerung von eurem Herrn zu euch gekommen ist, durch einen Mann von euch, damit er euch warne und damit ihr (Allah) fürchten werdet, auf dass ihr Erbarmen finden möget?“
Είστε έκπληκτοι ότι σας ήρθε μια υπενθύμιση από τον Κύριό σας μέσω ενός ανθρώπου από σας, για να σας προειδοποιήσει και για να φυλαχθείτε από την τιμωρία του Αλλάχ (τηρώντας τις εντολές Του) και μήπως να ελεηθείτε;»

63. „Ar jūs stebitės, kad atėjo jums Priminimas iš jūsų Viešpaties per žmogų iš jūsų tarpo tam, kad jis perspėtu jus, kad jūs bijotumėte Allaho ir kad jūs gautumėte (Jo) Gailestingumą?“

اور کیا تم اس بات سے تعجب کرتے ہو کہ تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے تمہارے پاس ایک ایسے شخص کی معرفت، جو تمہاری ہی جنس کا ہے، کوئی نصیحت کی بات آگئی تاکہ وه شخص تم کو ڈرائے اور تاکہ تم ڈرجاؤ[1] اور تاکہ تم پر رحم کیا جائے۔
