সে বললো: ‘নিশ্চয় এটা আমাকে চিন্তিত করে যে, তোমরা তাকে নিয়ে যাবে এবং আমি আশঙ্কা করি, যখন তোমরা (খেল-তামাশায় ব্যস্ত হয়ে) তার প্রতি অমনোযোগী হয়ে যাবে, তখন নেকড়ে তাকে খেয়ে ফেলবে ।’

თქვა (იაყუბმა): «ჭეშმარიტად, მამწუხრებს, რომ წაიყვანთ მას და მეშინია, რომ მგელმა არ შეჭამოს იგი მაშინ, როცა თქვენ უყურადღებოდ იქნებით მის მიმართ».
Er sagte: „Wahrlich, es macht mich ja traurig, dass ihr ihn mitnehmt. Und ich fürchte, dass ihn der Wolf frisst, während ihr seiner unachtsam seid.“
Είπε (ο Ιακώβ): «Πραγματικά με στεναχωρεί το να τον πάρετε μακριά (από μένα) και φοβάμαι να τον φάει ο λύκος, ενώ θα είστε απρόσεκτοι γι' αυτόν.»
उस (याक़ूब) ने कहा : यह मेरे लिए दुःख की बात है कि तुम उसे ले जाओ, तथा मैं इस बात से (भी) डरता हूँ कि उसे भेड़िया खा जाए और तुम उसका ध्यान न रख सको।
Disse: «In verità sapere che lo porterete via mi rende molto triste, e ho paura che il lupo lo mangi mentre voi siete distratti.»
13. Jis [Jakūbas (Jokūbas)] sakė: „Iš tiesų, mane liūdina, jei jūs jį pasiimsite. Aš bijau, kad vilkas jo nesuėstų, jei jūs būsite neatsargūs dėl jo.“
(Abbaan isaanii)(Ya’aquub) ni jedhe: “Isa fuutanii deemuun keessan na gaddisiisa, yayyiin isa nyaachuun sodaadha, Isin isa irraa dagatoo taatanii .”

Babaları: “Doğrusu onu götürmeniz beni üzer, siz ondan habersiz iken onu kurt yer, diye korkuyorum.” dedi.
(یعقوب علیہ السلام نے) کہا اسے تمہارا لے جانا مجھے تو سخت صدمہ دے گا اور مجھے یہ بھی کھٹکا لگا رہے گا کہ تمہاری غفلت میں اسے بھیڑیا کھا جائے.
