Und ob Wir dich nun einen Teil dessen, was Wir ihnen androhen, sehen lassen oder dich doch (zuvor) abberufen, so obliegt dir gewiss nur die Übermittlung (der Botschaft), und Uns obliegt die Abrechnung.
Είτε σου δείξουμε (ω, Προφήτη) κάτι απ' αυτό που τους υποσχεθήκαμε (από την τιμωρία), είτε αφαιρέσουμε τη ζωή σου (χωρίς να το δεις αυτό), (και στις δύο περιπτώσεις) το καθήκον σου είναι μόνο να διαβιβάσεις (το Μήνυμα ξεκάθαρα) και Εμείς είμαστε που θα τους φέρουμε για τον απολογισμό.
और यदि हम वस्तुतः (ऐ नबी!) आपको उसमें से कुछ दिखा दें, जिसका हम उन (काफ़िरों) से वादा करते हैं या वास्तव में आपको उठा लें, तो आपका काम केवल उपदेश पहुँचा देना है और हमारे ज़िम्मे हिसाब लेना है।

See they not how we aim to the land, reducing it of its outlying parts? (When) Allah doometh there is none that can postpone His doom, and He is swift at reckoning
Did they not see that we come to the land and diminish the borders thereof? God judges, and there is none to reverse His judgment, and He is swift at reckoning up
See they not that we come into their land and cut short its borders? God pronounceth a doom, and there is none to reverse his doom. And swift is He to take account
Do they not see that We come into their land, and straiten the borders thereof, by the conquests of the true believers? When God judgeth, there is none to reverse his judgment; and He will be swift in taking an account
