Ata thanë: "Lute Zotin tënd të na e shpjegojë qartë si duhet të jetë ajo, sepse të gjitha lopët na duken njësoj e ne, në dashtë Allahu, do ta gjejmë atë."
তারা বলল: ‘তুমি তোমার রাবের কাছে আমাদের জন্যে দু‘আ করো, তিনি যেন আমাদেরকে সুস্পষ্ট করে জানিয়ে দেন, গাভিটি কেমন হবে? নিশ্চয় গাভিটির সম্পর্কে আমরা সংশয়ে আছি । আর আল্লাহ ইচ্ছে করলে নিশ্চয় আমরা সঠিক (গাভি)টির সন্ধান পাবো।’

მათ თქვეს: «მიმართე თხოვნით შენს უფალს, რათა აგვიხსნას, – როგორია იგი, რადგანაც ბევრია ჩვენთვის ერთნაირი ძროხა და, ალლაჰი თუ ინებებს, უეჭველად, ჩვენ ვიქნებით ჭეშმარიტ გზაზე მდგომნი».
Sie sagten: „Bitte für uns deinen Herrn, uns deutlich zu machen, wie sie sein soll! Die Kühe erscheinen uns (alle) ähnlich. Und wir werden gewiss, so Allah will, ja zu den Rechtgeleiteten gehören.“
Είπαν: «Επικαλέσου τον Κύριό σου για μας, να μας διευκρινίσει (με περισσότερες περιγραφές) ποια είναι! Στ’ αλήθεια, για μας όλες οι αγελάδες μοιάζουν. Και με το θέλημα του Αλλάχ, θα καθοδηγηθούμε (στη συγκεκριμένη αγελάδα).»
उन्होंने कहा : हमारे लिए अपने पालनहार से प्रार्थना करो, वह हमारे लिए स्पष्ट कर दे वह (गाय) क्या है? निःसंदेह गायें हमपर एक-दूसरे से मिलती-जुलती हो गई हैं। और निश्चय हम यदि अल्लाह ने चाहा, तो उद्देश्य तक पहुँचने ही वाले हैं।

(Ummanni isaas) “ Gooftaa kee nuuf gaafadhu maalummaa ishee haa nuu ibsuu, sa’oonni nurratti wal fakkaataniiru; Nuti yoo Rabbiin fedhe qajeeluuf jirra" jedhan.

De sa: ”Be till din Herre för vår skull att han ska klargöra för oss vad för slags ko det ska vara, för korna liknar så varandra. Om Gud vill kommer vi säkerligen att bli vägledda.”

They said, 'Pray now thy Lord to show us what her colour is to be.' He answered, 'He saith it is a dun cow, intensely dun, her colour delighting those who look upon her
They said, "Call on your Lord for us, that he would make plain to us what is her colour." He said, "God saith, 'She is a fawn-coloured cow; her colour is very bright; she rejoiceth the beholders
