ამგვარად დავსჯით იმას [ამქვეყნად], ვინც ზღვარს გადავიდა და არ ირწმუნა თავისი უფლის აიათები, ხოლო საიქიოს სასჯელი უფრო ძლიერი და მარადიულია.
Und auf diese Weise vergelten Wir demjenigen, der maßlos ist und nicht an die Zeichen seines Herrn glaubt. Die Strafe des Jenseits ist fürwahr strenger und nachhaltiger.
Έτσι (με την άθλια ζωή) τιμωρούμε (στην εγκόσμια ζωή) αυτόν που παραβίασε τα όρια και δεν πίστεψε στα Εδάφια του Κυρίου του. Και πράγματι, η τιμωρία της Μέλλουσας Ζωής είναι πιο αυστηρή και διαρκεί περισσότερο.
तथा इसी प्रकार हम उस व्यक्ति को बदला देते हैं, जो हद से बढ़ जाए और अपने पालनहार की आयतों पर ईमान न लाए और निश्चय आख़िरत की यातना अधिक कठोर और अधिक स्थायी है।
E così Noi ripaghiamo chi trasgredisce e non crede nei Segni del suo Dio. E la punizione dell’Aldilà sarà in verità più aspra e duratura.

Are not they, who walk the very places where they dwelt, aware how many generations we have destroyed before them? Verily in this are signs to men of insight
Are not the Meccans therefore acquainted how many generations we have destroyed before them; in whose dwellings they walk? Verily herein are signs unto those who are indued with understanding
وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَكَانَ لِزَامًا وَأَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى

And had not a decree of respite from thy Lord first gone forth, their chastisement had at once ensued. Yet the time is fixed
