তারা আল্লাহ ও শেষ দিবসে ঈমান আনলে এবং আল্লাহ তাদেরকে যা কিছু দিয়েছেন তা থেকে ব্যয় করলে, তাদের এমন কী ক্ষতি হতো? আর আল্লাহ তাদের সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবগত।

Was würde es ihnen denn ausmachen, wenn sie an Allah und den Jüngsten Tag glauben und von dem ausgeben würden, womit Allah sie versorgt hat? Und Allah ist wissend über sie.
Τι θα τους έβλαπτε αν πίστευαν στον Αλλάχ και στην Έσχατη Ημέρα, και ξόδευαν από ό,τι τους έχει παράσχει ο Αλλάχ; Πράγματι, ο Αλλάχ είναι Παντογνώστης γι' όλα τα θέματά τους.
और उनका क्या बिगड़ जाता, यदि वे अल्लाह तथा अन्तिम दिन पर ईमान रखते और अल्लाह ने उन्हें जो कुछ दिया है, उसमें से खर्च करते? और अल्लाह उन्हें भली-भाँति जानता है।

Что стало бы им, если бы они уверовали в Аллаха и в Последний день и расходовали из того, чем Аллах наделил их? Аллах всегда был [и пребудет] о них знающим.

who are miserly and bid men be miserly too, and who hide what God has given them of His grace;- but we have prepared for the misbelievers shameful woe
Who are niggardly themselves, and bid others be niggards, and hide away what God of his bounty hath given them. We have made ready a shameful chastisement for the unbelievers
for God loveth not the proud or vainglorious, who are covetous, and recommend covetousness unto men, and conceal that which God of his bounty hath given them, -- we have prepared a shameful punishment for the unbelievers
