We have revealed the Torah, wherein is guidance and light. The submissive prophets ruled the Jews according to it, so did the rabbis and the scholars, as they were required to protectGod's Book, and were witnesses to it. So do not fear people, but fear Me. And do not sell My revelations for a cheap price. Those who do not rule according to what God revealed are the unbelievers.

নিশ্চয় আমি তাওরাত নাযিল করেছি। তাতে ছিল হিদায়াত ও আলো । নবীগণ, যারা ছিলেন অনুগত, তারা ইয়াহূদীদেরকে তদনুসারে হুকুম দিতেন। আর রাব্বানী ও বিদ্বানগণও। কারণ তাদেরকে বানানো হয়েছিলো আল্লাহর কিতাবের হিফাযতকারী এবং তারা ছিল ) এর ওপর সাক্ষী। কাজেই তোমরা মানুষকে ভয় করো না, আমাকে ভয় করো এবং আমার আয়াতসমূহের বিনিময়ে তুচ্ছ মূল্য ক্রয় করো না। আর যারা আল্লাহর নাযিলকৃত বিধান অনুযায়ী বিচার ফয়সালা করে না, তারাই কাফির।

Wahrlich, Wir haben die Thora hinabgesandt, in der Rechtleitung und Licht sind, womit die Propheten, die sich (Allah als Muslime) ergeben hatten, für diejenigen, die dem Judentum angehören, walten, und so auch die Leute des Herrn (also Rechtsgelehrten) und die Gelehrten, nach dem, was ihnen von der Schrift Allahs anvertraut worden war und worüber sie Zeugen waren. So fürchtet nicht die Menschen, sondern fürchtet Mich. Und verkauft Meine Zeichen nicht für einen geringen Preis! Und wer nicht nach dem richtet, was Allah (als Offenbarung) hinabgesandt hat, so sind jene die Ungläubigen.

Στ’ αλήθεια, στείλαμε την Τορά (στον Μωυσή), που περιείχε καθοδήγηση και φως, με την οποία έκριναν μεταξύ των Εβραίων, οι προφήτες που υποτάχθηκαν στη Βούληση του Αλλάχ (και στις εντολές Του στην Τορά, και δεν έκριναν με κάτι άλλο εκτός με αυτή). Επίσης και οι ευσεβείς λόγιοι και οι ραβίνοι (έκριναν) με ό,τι τους εμπιστεύτηκε (και τους δόθηκε από τους προφήτες) από το Βιβλίο του Αλλάχ, και ήταν μάρτυρες σ’ αυτό. Έτσι, (ω, ευσεβείς λόγιοι) μη φοβάστε τους ανθρώπους (στο να κρίνετε μεταξύ τους με το Βιβλίο Μου), αλλά Εμένα να φοβάστε. Και μην εξαγοράσετε τα Εδάφιά Μου (εγκαταλείποντας την κρίση μ' αυτά ή κρύβοντας κάποια απ' αυτά για χάρη κάποιων ανθρώπων) για μια εξευτελιστική τιμή. Και όποιοι δεν κρίνουν σύμφωνα μ’ ό,τι έστειλε ο Αλλάχ, πράγματι, τέτοιοι είναι οι άπιστοι.

निःसंदेह हमने तौरात उतारी, जिसमें मार्गदर्शन और प्रकाश था। उसके अनुसार वे नबी जो आज्ञाकारी थे उन लोगों के लिए फ़ैसला करते थे, जो यहूदी बने, तथा अल्लाह वाले और विद्वान लोग भी (उसी के अनुसार फ़ैसला करते थे)। क्योंकि वे अल्लाह की पुस्तक के रक्षक बनाए गए थे और वे उसके (सत्य होने के) गवाह थे। अतः तुम लोगों से न डरो, केवल मुझसे डरो और मेरी आयतों के बदले तनिक मूल्य न खरीदो। और जो उसके अनुसार फ़ैसला न करे जो अल्लाह ने उतारा है, तो वही लोग काफ़िर हैं।

ہم نے تورات نازل فرمائی ہے جس میں ہدایت ونور ہے، یہودیوں میں[1] اسی تورات کے ساتھ اللہ تعالیٰ کے ماننے والے انبیاء (علیہم السلام)[2] اور اہل اللہ اور علما فیصلے کرتے تھے کیونکہ انہیں اللہ کی اس کتاب کی حفاﻇت کا حکم دیا گیا تھا[3]۔ اور وه اس پر اقراری گواه تھے[4] اب تمہیں چاہیئے کہ لوگوں سے نہ ڈرو اور صرف میرا ڈر رکھو، میری آیتوں کو تھوڑے تھوڑے مول پر نہ بیچو[5]، جو لوگ اللہ کی اتاری ہوئی وحی کے ساتھ فیصلے نہ کریں وه (پورے اور پختہ) کافر ہیں۔[6]

Text is stored VERBATIM: NFC normalisation and XML entity unescaping only, because CC BY-ND forbids modification.
CLEARED on a licence read first-hand from the translator's own download page, not from an aggregator. Tanzil also hosts this translation, but under a blanket "non-commercial purposes only" term that directs the user to the translator or publisher for permission - a hosting disclaimer, not a grant - so the grant was taken from the licensor directly. The "God" edition was ingested; ClearQuran also publishes an "Allah" edition, differing in how the divine name is rendered, which is not ingested.
CLEARED ON THE WORK, WITH TWO RECORDED CAVEATS ON THIS COPY. (1) Rights basis is the expired copyright term, NOT the redistributing repository's licence. That repository dedicates its contents to the public domain under the Unlicense while also redistributing plainly in-copyright translations (Abdel Haleem, Saheeh International, The Study Quran), so it is dedicating rights it cannot hold and its blanket grant is not relied upon here. (2) The file declares its own upstream as tanzil.net, and Tanzil attaches a non-commercial condition to its TRANSLATION distributions, though not to its Qur'anic text. Since Pickthall's copyright has expired, nobody holds rights in these words and no licence is required from anyone; Tanzil's terms are a contract binding those who download from Tanzil, which we did not. The chain is nonetheless not spotless and Anwar may prefer a clean digitisation of the 1930 printing. NOT VERIFIED: that this digital text matches the 1930 first printing rather than a later revised edition. No page images were collated. Recorded as unverified rather than presented as established.
