(მორწმუნეები განსხვავდებოდნენ ნადავლის განაწილების საკითხში), ისევე როგორც (განსხვავდებოდნენ ბადრის ბრძოლაში გასვლის აუცილებლობაზე, როცა) შენ (ო, მოციქულო) შენმა უფალმა გამოგიყვანა შენი სახლიდან ჭეშმარიტებით, მაშინ როცა მორწმუნეთა ერთ ნაწილს ძლიერ არ სურდა (ბრძოლა).
So wie dein Herr dich aus deinem Haus hinausziehen ließ mit der Wahrheit, während es einer Gruppe der Gläubigen gewiss zuwider war.
Όπως σε έκανε ο Κύριός σου να βγεις από το σπίτι σου με την αλήθεια (από τη Μαντίνα μαζί με τριακόσιους δέκα άνδρες για να κάνετε εκστρατεία εναντίον του εμπορικού καραβανιού των άπιστων εχθρών, που είχαν πάρει τις περιουσίες σας στη Μάκκα. Το καραβάνι ερχόταν από την παλαιά Συρία προς τη Μάκκα, αλλά όταν έμαθαν οι άπιστοι στη Μάκκα για την εκστρατεία σας, έστειλαν στρατό χιλίων ανδρών για να σώσουν το καραβάνι), ενώ σε μια ομάδα από τους πιστούς δεν άρεσε (το να πολεμήσουν, επειδή δεν ήταν έτοιμοι και βγήκαν μόνο για το καραβάνι, και επειδή οι άπιστοι ήταν τριπλάσιοι σε αριθμό απ' αυτούς).
जिस प्रकार[2] आपके पालनहार ने आपको आपके घर (मदीना) से (बहुदेववादियों से युद्ध के लिए) सत्य के साथ निकाला, हालाँकि निश्चय ईमान वालों का एक समूह तो (इसे) नापसंद करने वाला था।

They disputed with thee about the truth which had been made so clear, as if they were being led forth to death, and saw it before them
They (the disbelievers) dispute with thee concerning the truth after it has become manifest, as though they are being driven to death while they actually see it
وَإِذْ يَعِدُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ إِحْدَى ٱلطَّآئِفَتَيْنِ أَنَّهَا لَكُمْ وَتَوَدُّونَ أَنَّ غَيْرَ ذَاتِ ٱلشَّوْكَةِ تَكُونُ لَكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُحِقَّ ٱلْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعَ دَابِرَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

God has promised you one of the two groups-that it would be yours-but you wanted the unarmed group to be yours. God intends to prove the truth with His words, and to uproot the disbelievers.
And when Allah promised you one of the two bands (of the enemy) that it should be yours, and ye longed that other than the armed one might be yours. And Allah willed that He should cause the Truth to triumph by His words, and cut the root of the disbelievers
and when God promised you that one of the two troops should be yours, and ye would fain have had those who had no arms. God wished to prove the truth true by His words, and to cut off the hindermost parts of those who misbelieve
And remember when God promised you that one of the two troops should fall to you, and ye desired that they who had no arms should fall to you: but God purposed to prove true the truth of his words, and to cut off the uttermost part ofthe infidels
And remember when God promised you one of the two parties that it should be yours, and you wished that the one unarmed should be yours, but God desired to establish the Truth by His words and to cut off the root of the disbelievers
