რათა ალლაჰმა დააჯილდოვოს მართალნი [მორწმუნენი] მათი სიმართლის გამო და დასაჯოს ორპირები, თუ ის ისურვებს, ან (ისურვოს) მიიღოს მათი მონანიება. ჭეშმარიტად, ალლაჰი მპატიებელი, მოწყალეა!
(Dies,) damit Allah den Wahrhaftigen ihre Wahrhaftigkeit vergelte und die Heuchler (be)strafe, wenn Er will, oder sich ihnen Reue-Annehmend zuwende. Wahrlich, Allah ist allvergebend und barmherzig.
(Ο Αλλάχ δοκιμάζει τους δούλους Του) για να ανταμείψει ο Αλλάχ τους ειλικρινείς για την ειλικρίνειά τους (και την υπομονή τους στην εκπλήρωση αυτού που υποσχέθηκαν), και να τιμωρήσει τους υποκριτές αν θέλει (με το να μην τους καθοδηγήσει στο να στραφούν με μεταμέλεια, και να πεθάνουν στην υποκρισία τους) ή (να τους καθοδηγήσει στο να στραφούν με μεταμέλεια και) να δεχτεί τη μεταμέλειά τους. Πράγματι, ο Αλλάχ είναι Γαφούρ (Αυτός που συγχωρεί τα πάντα) και Ραχείμ (Πολυεύσπλαχνος).
ताकि अल्लाह सच्चे लोगों को उनके सच का बदला प्रदान करे, और मुनाफ़िक़ों को, यदि चाहे तो यातना दे या उनकी तौबा क़बूल कर ले। निःसंदेह अल्लाह अति क्षमाशील, अत्यंत दयावान् है।
Allāh ripagherà i sinceri per la loro sincerità e punirà gli ipocriti, se Lui vuole, o li perdonerà: in verità Allāh è Perdonatore, Misericordioso.
24. Taip Allahas atlygina tiesos žmonėms už jų tiesą (t. y. už jų kantrybę atliekant tai, dėl ko jie susitarė su Allahu) ir nubaudžia veidmainius, jei Jis nori, arba priima jų atgailą, atsigręždamas į juos (su Gailestingumu). Iš tiesų, Allahas yra Dažnai Atleidžiantis, Gailestingiausiasis.

Чтобы Аллах воздал правдивым за их правдивость, и подверг наказанию лицемеров, если пожелает, или принял их покаяние. Воистину, Аллах всегда был [и пребудет] прощающим, милующим.

Ili Mwenyezi Mungu awalipe wakweli kwa sababu ya ukweli wao, na awaadhibu wanafiki pindi akitaka, au apokee toba yao. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemu.
Gud [prövar folk för att] belöna de sanningsenliga för deras sannfärdighet och, om han vill, straffa de skenbart troende eller leda dem till ånger [och godta den]. Gud är ständigt förlåtande, barmhärtig.

Of the believers are men who are true to what they pledged to God. Some of them have fulfilled their vows; and some are still waiting, and never wavering.
