Five verses, a request for refuge with the Lord of the daybreak against evils named one at a time. The fourth of them is rendered four different ways, and the four do not agree whether it names people.

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ

Six verses asking for refuge with the Lord, the King and the God of mankind, against a whisperer whom the closing verse places among both jinn and men. It is the last surah in the mushaf order, and the surah before it also asks for refuge.
