The Qur'an does not mention celebrating birthdays. The day of birth is named twice, as one of three days on which there is peace.
At 19:15 it is said of John: Pickthall has "Peace on him the day he was born, and the day he dieth and the day he shall be raised alive". At 19:33 Jesus says it of himself: Itani has "So Peace is upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the Day I get resurrected alive."
Neither verse speaks of marking the day each year, or of any gathering. Whether a birthday may be celebrated, the verses do not say.
