The prohibition is real and it is conditioned. 3:28 tells the believers not to take those who disbelieve as friends or patrons in preference to believers - and in the same sentence says unless ye fear something from them. All four renderings keep both halves.
The other verses show what the word is doing. 2:257 uses it of God himself: God is the patron of those who believe. 4:139 asks what those who take unbelievers for friends are looking for, and answers that honour belongs to God - a motive, not a rule. And 4:89 attaches the refusal to a named group: people who want you to disbelieve and who will not leave their homes.
The verses carried with them take the prohibition further and also bound it. 5:51 names the Jews and the Christians, and all four say that whoever takes them so is one of them: Pickthall has "He among you who taketh them for friends is (one) of them". At 5:51 Palmer has "patrons" where Pickthall, Rodwell and Sale write friends. 5:57 names those who make a jest and sport of the believers' religion, from those given the Scripture before and from the disbelievers. 3:118 forbids intimacy with outsiders and gives its reason in the same verse: they wish the believers harm, and hatred has already shown from their mouths. And 60:8-9 draws the line in two verses: God does not forbid kindness and justice toward those who have not fought the believers over religion nor driven them from their homes, and Pickthall has "Allah forbiddeth you only those who warred against you on account of religion".
What the word covers - a friend, a patron, an ally, a protector - is exactly where the four translators part company, and it is what the whole question turns on. This study shows the divergence and stops. Settling it needs the interpretation layer, which is blocked on rights.

Tačiau tų, kurie netiki, - jų Aulija (rėmėjai ir padėjėjai) yra Taghūt [netikros dievybės ir netikri lyderiai], jie išveda juos iš šviesos į tamsą. Rabbiin gargaaraa warra amananiiti, Dukkanoota irraa gara ifaatti isaan baasa. Warra kafaran jaalallonni isaanii xaaghuuta; Ifaa irraa gara dukkanootaatti isaan baasan. Isaan sun warra ibiddaati; isaan ishee keessatti zalaalam jiraatoodha.

Allah, iman edenlerin dostudur; onları karanlıklardan aydınlığa çıkarır. Kâfirlerin dostları ise tâğûttur, onları aydınlıktan karanlıklara çıkarırlar. İşte onlar cehennemliklerdir. Orada ebedî olarak kalırlar.
ایمان ﻻنے والوں کا کارساز اللہ تعالیٰ خود ہے، وه انہیں اندھیروں سے روشنی کی طرف نکال لے جاتا ہے اور کافروں کے اولیاء شیاطین ہیں۔ وه انہیں روشنی سے نکال کر اندھیروں کی طرف لے جاتے ہیں، یہ لوگ جہنمی ہیں جو ہمیشہ اسی میں پڑے رہیں گے۔

His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation does not burden Him. He is the Most High, the Great.
Allah! There is no deity save Him, the Alive, the Eternal. Neither slumber nor sleep overtaketh Him. Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Who is he that intercedeth with Him save by His leave? He knoweth that which is in front of them and that which is behind them, while they encompass nothing of His knowledge save what He will. His throne includeth the heavens and the earth, and He is never weary of preserving them. He is the Sublime, the Tremendous

Bethink thee of him who had an argument with Abraham about his Lord, because Allah had given him the kingdom; how, when Abraham said: My Lord is He Who giveth life and causeth death, he answered: I give life and cause death. Abraham said: Lo! Allah causeth the sun to rise in the East, so do thou cause it to come up from the West. Thus was the disbeliever abashed. And Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk
Do you not look at him who disputed with Abraham about his Lord, that God had given him the kingdom? When Abraham said, 'My Lord is He who giveth life and death,' he said, 'I give life and death.' When Abraham said, my Lord is he who giveth life, and killeth: He answered, I give life, and I kill. Abraham said, verily God bringeth the sun from the east, now do thou bring it from the west. Whereupon the infidel was confounded; for God directeth not the ungoldly people
أَوْ كَٱلَّذِى مَرَّ عَلَىٰ قَرْيَةٍ وَهِىَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِهَا قَالَ أَنَّىٰ يُحْىِۦ هَٰذِهِ ٱللَّهُ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا فَأَمَاتَهُ ٱللَّهُ مِا۟ئَةَ عَامٍ ثُمَّ بَعَثَهُۥ قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتَ قَالَ لَبِثْتُ يَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ قَالَ بَل لَّبِثْتَ مِا۟ئَةَ عَامٍ فَٱنظُرْ إِلَىٰ طَعَامِكَ وَشَرَابِكَ لَمْ يَتَسَنَّهْ وَٱنظُرْ إِلَىٰ حِمَارِكَ وَلِنَجْعَلَكَ ءَايَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَٱنظُرْ إِلَى ٱلْعِظَامِ كَيْفَ نُنشِزُهَا ثُمَّ نَكْسُوهَا لَحْمًا فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُۥ قَالَ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Or like him who passed by a town collapsed on its foundations. He said, "How can God revive this after its demise?" Thereupon God caused him to die for a hundred years, and then resurrected him. He said, "For how long have you tarried?" He said, "I have tarried for a day, or part of a day." He said, "No. You have tarried for a hundred years. Now look at your food and your drink-it has not spoiled-and look at your donkey. We will make you a wonder for mankind. And look at the bones, how We arrange them, and then clothe them with flesh." So when it became clear to him, he said, "I know that God has power over all things."
Or (bethink thee of) the like of him who, passing by a township which had fallen into utter ruin, exclaimed: How shall Allah give this township life after its death? And Allah made him die a hundred years, then brought him back to life. He said: How long hast thou tarried? (The man) said: I have tarried a day or part of a day. (He) said: Nay, but thou hast tarried for a hundred years. Just look at thy food and drink which have not rotted! Look at thine ass! And, that We may make thee a token unto mankind, look at the bones, how We adjust them and then cover them with flesh! And when (the matter) became clear unto him, he said: I know now that Allah is Able to do all things
Or like him who passed by a village, when it was desolate and turned over on its roofs, and said, 'How will God revive this after its death?' Or how he demeaned him who passed by a city which had been laid in ruins. "How," said he, "shall God give life to this city, after she hath been dead?" He said, "Nay, thou hast waited an hundred years. Believers are not to take disbelievers for friends instead of believers. Whoever does that has nothing to do with God, unless it is to protect your own selves against them. God warns you to beware of Him. To God is the destiny.

არ აიყვანონ მეგობრებად მორწმუნეებმა ურწმუნონი მორწმუნეთა მაგივრად; და ვინც ამას იქმს, ალლაჰთან საერთო აღარაფერი ექნება. გამონაკლისია, თუ მათი მხრიდან რაიმე საფრთხეს გრძნობთ. და ალლაჰი გაფრთხილებთ, და მხოლოდ ალლაჰთანაა დაბრუნება.
Die Gläubigen sollen nicht die Ungläubigen anstatt der Gläubigen zu Schutzherren nehmen. Wer das nun tut, hat überhaupt nichts mit Allah (gemeinsam), es sei denn, dass ihr euch (dadurch mit der Zunge) vor ihnen schützt. Und Allah mahnt euch zur Vorsicht vor Sich selbst. Und zu Allah ist die Rückkehr.
Δεν πρέπει οι πιστοί να πάρουν τους άπιστους ως συμμάχους (υποστηρικτές και κηδεμόνες) αντί των πιστών. Και όποιος το κάνει αυτό, δεν έχει καμία σύνδεση με τον Αλλάχ, εκτός εάν (είστε αδύναμοι, υπό την κυριαρχία τους και φοβούμενοι να σας σκοτώσουν, τότε δεν υπάρχει κάτι το μεμπτό το να το κάνετε) για να αποφύγετε το κακό τους μόνο με τη γλώσσα σας (ενώ η καρδιά σας γεμάτη με την πίστη). Και ο Αλλάχ σάς προειδοποιεί για τον Εαυτό Του (και την τιμωρία Του), και στον Αλλάχ βρίσκεται ο τελικός προορισμός.
ईमान वालों को चाहिए कि वे मोमिनों को छोड़कर काफ़िरों को मित्र न बनाएँ और जो ऐसा करेगा, उसका अल्लाह से कोई संबंध नहीं। परंतु यह कि तुम उनसे अपना बचाव[13] करो, और अल्लाह तुम्हें अपने आपसे डराता है और अल्लाह ही की ओर लौटकर जाना है।
I credenti non prendano i miscredenti come alleati invece dei fedeli. E chi fa ciò non avrà nulla a che fare con Allāh, a meno che non prendiate nei loro confronti delle precauzioni. E Allāh vi mette in guardia da Sé stesso, e il ritorno sarà ad Allāh.
28. Lai tikintieji neima netikinčiųjų kaip Aulija (rėmėjų, padėjėjų) vietoj tikinčiųjų. Ir tas, kas taip daro, neturės Allaho pagalbos jokiu būdu. Išskyrus tada, kai jūs iš tiesų bijote jų keliamo pavojaus. Ir Allahas įspėja jus apie Save (Savo bausmę) ir pas Allahą paskutinis sugrįžimas.
Mu’uminoonni mu’uminoota malee kaafiroota jaalallee hin godhatin. namni kana dalage, (diinii) Rabbii irraa homaa keessa hin jiru, Yoo eeggannaa wahii isaan irraa eeggachuuf ta’e malee, Rabbiin nafsii Isaa isin sodaachisa. Deebiin garuma Rabbiiti. [7]
Пусть верующие не берут отвергших веру покровителями вместо верующих. А кто поступит так, тот не имеет ничего общего с Аллахом, если только вы не опасаетесь от них вреда. Аллах предостерегает вас от Самого Себя, и к Аллаху — конечный исход.
Нека верници за присне пријатеље и заштитнике не узимају невернике мимо верника, а ко то чини, са Аллахом нема ништа! Учините то само ако се тиме од њих штитите! Аллах вас на Себе упозорава, а код Аллаха је коначно одредиште.
Waumini wasiwafanye makafiri kuwa marafiki wa kuwasaidia badala ya Waumini. Na mwenye kufanya hilo, basi hatakuwa na chochote mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Isipokuwa ikiwa kwa ajili ya kujilinda na shari zao. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anawahadharisha naye mwenyewe. Na marejeo ni kwa Mwenyezi Mungu.
De troende får inte ta de otrogna till bundsförvanter i stället för de troende, och den som gör det har inget band kvar till Gud. Det gäller dock inte ifall ni skulle frukta något från dem [och måste visa yttre försiktighet]. Och Gud varnar er för sig själv. Gud är slutmålet för allas färd.
Müminler, Müminleri bırakıp kâfirleri veli/dost edinmesinler. Kim böyle yaparsa Allah ile ilişiğini kesmiş olur. Ancak onlardan (gelebilecek tehlikeden) korunmanız başkadır. Allah, asıl sizi kendisi hakkında korkutup uyarmaktadır. Dönüş Allah’adır.

Say, (O Muhammad): Whether ye hide that which is in your breasts or reveal it, Allah knoweth it. He knoweth that which is in the heavens and that which is in the earth, and Allah is Able to do all things
Say, 'If ye hide that which is in your breasts, or if ye show it, God knows it: He knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, for God is mighty over all
SAY: Whether ye hide what is in your breasts, or whether ye publish it abroad, God knoweth it: He knoweth what is in the heavens and what is in the earth; and over all things is God potent

On the Day when every soul will find itself confronted with all that it hath done of good and all that it hath done of evil (every soul) will long that there might be a mighty space of distance between it and that (evil). Allah biddeth you beware of Him. And Allah is Full of Pity for (His) bondmen
The day that every soul shall find what it has done of good present before it; and what it has done of evil, it would fain that there were between itself and that a wide interval. 'God bids you beware of Himself, but God is gentle with His servants
On that day shall every soul find present to it, whatever it hath wrought of good: and as to what it hath wrought of evil, it will wish that wide were the space between itself and it! But God would have you beware of Himself; for God is kind to His servants
On the last day every soul shall find the good which it hath wrought, present; and the evil which it hath wrought, it shall wish that between it self and that were a wide distance: But God warneth you to beware of himself; for God is gracious unto his servants

DIN 31635waddū law takfurūna kamā kafarū fatakūnūna sawāʾan falā tattaḫiḏū minhum ʾawliyāʾa ḥattā yuhāǧirū fī sabīli llāhi faʾin tawallaw faḫuḏūhum waqtulūhum ḥayṯu waǧadttumūhum walā tattaḫiḏū minhum waliyyan walā naṣīran

They would love to see you disbelieve, just as they disbelieve, so you would become equal. So do not befriend any of them, unless they emigrate in the way of God. If they turn away, seize them and execute them wherever you may find them; and do not take from among them allies or supporters.

Ata dëshirojnë që ju të mos besoni, siç nuk besojnë vetë, e të bëheni njësoj si ata. Andaj, mos i merrni ata për miq derisa të mërgojnë në rrugën e Allahut. Mirëpo, nëse ata e kthejnë shpinën, atëherë zërini e vritini kudo që t'i gjeni dhe mos merrni nga ata as miq e as ndihmës,
তারা কামনা করে যে, তোমরা যেন কুফুরী করো, যেমন তারা কুফরী করেছে, যাতে তোমরা তাদের সমান হয়ে যাও। সুতরাং আল্লাহর পথে হিজরত না করা পর্যন্ত তোমরা তাদের মধ্য থেকে কাউকেই বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করো না। অতএব, তারা যদি মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে তাদেরকে যেখানে পাবে সেখানেই পাকড়াও করবে এবং হত্যা করবে। আর তাদের মধ্য থেকে কাউকেই বন্ধু ও সাহায্যকারী হিসেবে গ্রহণ করবে না।

მათ სურთ, რომ თქვენც ურწმუნონი გახდეთ, როგორც ისინი გახდნენ ურწმუნონი, და (შემდეგ) ერთნაირები იყოთ (ურწმუნოებაში). ამიტომ ნუ აირჩევთ მათგან მეგობრებსა და თანამოაზრეებს, სანამ ისინი არ გადასახლდებიან ალლაჰის გზაზე (რითაც დაამტკიცებენ თავიანთი რწმენის გულწრფელობას). ხოლო თუ ისინი განერიდებიან, მაშინ შეიპყარით ისინი და დახოცეთ, სადაც კი იპოვით. და ნუ აირჩევთ მათგან არც მეგობარს და არც დამხმარეს.
Sie möchten gern, dass ihr ungläubig werdet, wie sie ungläubig sind, so dass ihr (alle) gleich seiet. So nehmt sie euch nicht zu Vertrauten, bevor sie nicht auf dem Weg Allahs auswandern! Sollten sie sich jedoch abkehren, dann ergreift sie und tötet sie, wo immer ihr sie findet, und nehmt euch von ihnen weder Schutzherren noch Unterstützer.
Εύχονται να αρνηθείτε την πίστη όπως αυτοί αρνήθηκαν την πίστη, ώστε να γίνετε όλοι ίσοι. Επομένως, μην πάρετε απ' αυτούς συμμάχους μέχρι να μεταναστεύσουν στο δρόμο του Αλλάχ (και να χωριστούν από τους πολυθεϊστές, ως απόδειξη της πίστης τους). Αν όμως αρνηθούν (να μεταναστεύσουν δείχνοντας την απιστία τους), πάρτε τους και σκοτώστε τους όπου τους βρείτε, και μην πάρετε απ' αυτούς ούτε συμμάχους ούτε υποστηρικτές, [Βλ. (ऐ ईमान वालो!) वे चाहते हैं कि जिस तरह वे काफ़िर हो गए, तुम भी काफ़िर हो जाओ ताकि तुम उनके बराबर हो जाओ। अतः तुम उनमें से किसी को मित्र न बनाओ, जब तक वे अल्लाह की राह में हिजरत न करें। यदि वे इससे मुँह फेरें, तो जहाँ भी पाओ, उन्हें पकड़ो और क़त्ल करो और उनमें से किसी को अपना मित्र और सहायक न बनाओ।
Vorrebbero che voi foste miscredenti come loro sono miscredenti, così sarete uguali. Non prendete dei sostenitori tra di loro, finché non saranno emigrati per la causa di Allāh. Se si ritirano, prendeteli e uccideteli ovunque siano, e non prendetevi tra di loro né protettore né sostenitore,
89. Jie trokšta, kad jūs paliktumėte Tikėjimą, kaip ir jie paliko (Tikėjimą), ir tuo būdu kad jūs visi taptumėte lygūs (vienodi). Они хотели бы, чтобы вы отвергли веру, как отвергли веру они, и тогда вы оказались бы равными. Так не берите же из них покровителей, пока они не переселятся на пути Аллаха. И если они отвернутся, то захватывайте их и убивайте, где бы вы их ни нашли, и не берите из их числа ни покровителя, ни помощника.
Они би волели да и ви не верујете као што они не верују, па да будете једнаки. Зато, између њих не узимајте пријатеље док се не иселе на Аллаховом Путу. А ако се окрену, онда их хватајте и убијајте где год их нађете и између њих пријатеље и помагаче не узимајте.
Wanapenda lau kuwa mtakufuru kama walivyokufuru wao, ili muwe sawasawa. Basi, msifanye marafiki wandani miongoni mwao mpaka wahame kwenda katika njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na wakigeuka, basi wakamateni, na waueni popote mnapowapata. Wala msifanye miongoni mwao rafiki mwandani wala msaidizi.
De vill att ni ska förkasta tron, liksom de själva har förkastat den, så att ni alla blir lika. Ta därför inte någon av dem till förtrogen förrän de utvandrar för Guds skull. Men om de vänder sig bort, grip dem då och döda dem var ni än finner dem, och ta ingen av dem till hjälpare eller beskyddare.
Onlar, kendileri küfre saptıkları gibi, keşke siz de küfre sapsanız da eşit olasınız isterler. Allah yolunda hicret etmedikçe onlardan dost edinmeyin. Dolayısıyla eğer yüz çevirirlerse, bu durumda onları tutun ve bulduğunuz yerde öldürün. Onlardan dost ve yardımcı edinmeyin.
ان کی تو چاہت ہے کہ جس طرح کے کافر وه ہیں تو بھی ان کی طرح کفر کرنے لگو اور پھر سب یکساں ہو جاؤ، پس جب تک یہ اسلام کی خاطر وطن نہ چھوڑیں ان میں سے کسی کو حقیقی دوست نہ بناؤ[1] ، پھر اگر یہ منھ پھیر لیں تو انہیں پکڑو[2] اور قتل کرو جہاں بھی یہ ہاتھ لگ جائیں[3]، خبردار! ان میں سے کسی کو اپنا رفیق اور مددگار نہ سمجھ بیٹھنا۔

God-there is no god except He. He will gather you to the Day of Resurrection, in which there is no doubt. And who speaks more truly than God?
Allah! There is no Allah save Him. He gathereth you all unto a Day of Resurrection whereof there is no doubt. Who is more true in statement than Allah
God, there is no God but He! He will surely assemble you on the resurrection day, there is no doubt therein; who is truer than God in his discourse
God! there is no god but He! He will certainly assemble you on the day of resurrection. There is no doubt of it. And whose word is more true than God's
God! There is no God but He; He will surely gather you together on the day of resurrection; there is no doubt of it: And who is more true than God in what he saith
فَمَا لَكُمْ فِى ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ فِئَتَيْنِ وَٱللَّهُ أَرْكَسَهُم بِمَا كَسَبُوٓا۟ أَتُرِيدُونَ أَن تَهْدُوا۟ مَنْ أَضَلَّ ٱللَّهُ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُۥ سَبِيلًا

What is the matter with you, divided into two factions regarding the hypocrites, when God Himself has overwhelmed them on account of what they did? Do you want to guide those whom God has led astray? Whomever God leads astray-you will never find for him a way.
What aileth you that ye are become two parties regarding the hypocrites, when Allah cast them back (to disbelief) because of what they earned? Seek ye to guide him whom Allah hath sent astray? He whom Allah sendeth astray, for him thou (O MUhammad) canst not find a road
Why are ye two parties about the hypocrites, when God hath overturned them for what they earned? Do ye wish to guide those whom God hath led astray? Whoso God hath led astray ye shall not surely find for him a path
Why are ye two parties on the subject of the hypocrites, when God hath cast them off for their doings? Desire ye to guide those whom god hath led astray? But for him whom God leadeth astray, thou shalt by no means find a pathway
Why are ye divided concerning the ungodly into two parties; since God hath overturned them for what they have committed? Will ye direct him whom God hath led astray; since for him whom God shall lead astray, thou shalt find no true path

Except those who join people with whom you have a treaty, or those who come to you reluctant to fight you or fight their own people. Had God willed, He would have given them power over you, and they would have fought you. If they withdraw from you, and do not fight you, and offer you peace, then God assigns no excuse for you against them.
Except those who seek refuge with a people between whom and you there is a covenant, or (those who) come unto you because their hearts forbid them to make war on you or make war on their own folk. Had Allah willed He could have given them power over you so that assuredly they would have fought you. So, if they hold aloof from you and wage not war against you and offer you peace, Allah alloweth you no way against them
save those who reach a people betwixt whom and you is an alliance - or who come to you while their bosoms prevent them from fighting you or fighting their own people. But had God pleased He would have given you dominion over them, and they would surely have fought you. But if they retire from you and do not fight you, and offer you peace,- then God hath given you no way against them
Except those who shall seek and asylum among your allies, and those who come over to you - their hearts forbidding them to make war on you, or to make war on their own people. Had God pleased, he would have given them power against you, and they would have made war upon you! But, if they depart from you, and make not war against you and offer you peace, the God alloweth you no occasion against them
except those who go unto a people who are in alliance with you, or those who come unto you, their hearts forbidding them either to fight against you, or to fight against their own people. And if God pleased He would have permitted them to have prevailed against you, and they would have fought against you. But if they depart from you, and fight not against you, and offer you peace, God doth not allow you to take or kill of them
سَتَجِدُونَ ءَاخَرِينَ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَأْمَنُوكُمْ وَيَأْمَنُوا۟ قَوْمَهُمْ كُلَّ مَا رُدُّوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلْفِتْنَةِ أُرْكِسُوا۟ فِيهَا فَإِن لَّمْ يَعْتَزِلُوكُمْ وَيُلْقُوٓا۟ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلسَّلَمَ وَيَكُفُّوٓا۟ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فَخُذُوهُمْ وَٱقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكُمْ جَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَٰنًا مُّبِينًا

You will find others who want security from you, and security from their own people. But whenever they are tempted into civil discord, they plunge into it. So if they do not withdraw from you, nor offer you peace, nor restrain their hands, seize them and execute them wherever you find them. Against these, We have given you clear authorization.
Ye will find others who desire that they should have security from you, and security from their own folk. So often as they are returned to hostility they are plunged therein. If they keep not aloof from you nor offer you peace nor hold their hands, then take them and kill them wherever ye find them. Against such We have given you clear warrant
Ye will find others who seek for quarter from you, and quarter from their own people; whenever they return to sedition they shall be overturned therein: but if they retire not from you, nor offer you peace, nor restrain their hands, then seize them and kill them wheresoever ye find them;- over these we have made for you manifest power
Ye will find others who seek to gain your confidence as well as that of their own people: So oft as they return to sedition, they shall be overthrown in it: But if they leave you not, nor propose terms or peace to you nor withhold their hands, then seize them, and slay them, wherever ye find them. Over these have we given you undoubted power
Ye shall find others who are desirous to enter into a confidence with you, and at the same time to preserve a confidence with their own people: So often as they return to sedition, they shall be subverted therein; and if they depart not from you, and offer you peace, and restrain their hands from warring against you, take them and kill them wheresoever ye find them; over these have we granted you a manifest power

(für diejenigen,) die die Ungläubigen anstatt der Gläubigen zu Schutzherren nehmen. Begehren sie (etwa) Macht bei ihnen (zu finden)? Denn wahrlich, alle Macht gehört Allah.
Οι οποίοι παίρνουν τους άπιστους ως υποστηρικτές και συμμάχους αντί των πιστών. Αναζητούν τη δύναμη μέσω αυτών; Πράγματι, όλη η δύναμη ανήκει στον Αλλάχ.
जो ईमान वालों को छोड़कर काफ़िरों को अपना मित्र बनाते हैं, क्या वे उनके पास मान-सम्मान ढूँढ़ते हैं? तो निःसंदेह सब मान-सम्मान अल्लाह ही के लिए[90] है।
Quelli che hanno i miscredenti per alleati al posto dei credenti, desiderano ottenerne il potere? In verità il potere è tutto di Allāh!
139. Tie, kurie Aulija (globėjais arba padėjėjais arba draugais) laiko netikinčiuosius vietoj tikinčiųjų, ar jie siekia garbės, galios ar šlovės su jais? Iš tiesų, tada Allahui priklauso visa garbė, galia ir šlovė.
(Isaan) warra mu’uminootaa dhiisanii kaafiroota jaalallee godhataniidha. Sila jabeenya isaan bira barbaadanii? Dhugumatti, jabeenyi hundi kan Rabbiiti.
[Они —] те, которые берут отвергших веру покровителями вместо верующих; неужели они ищут у них величия? А ведь, воистину, величие всецело принадлежит Аллаху.
који присно пријатељују с неверницима, мимо верника! Зар од њих траже моћ, а сва моћ припада само Аллаху?!
Wale ambao huwafanya makafiri kuwa ndio marafiki wandani badala ya Waumini. Je, wanataka wapate kwao utukufu? Basi hakika utukufu wote ni wa Mwenyezi Mungu.
Det är de som väljer att ta de otrogna till allierade i stället för de troende. Söker de ära och makt hos dem? All ära och all makt tillhör enbart Gud!
Onlar, Müminleri bırakıp kâfirleri dost/veli edinirler. Kâfirlerin yanında güç/zafer mi arıyorlar? İzzet bütünüyle Allah’a aittir.

He hath already revealed unto you in the Scripture that, when ye hear the revelations of Allah rejected and derided, (ye) sit not with them (who disbelieve and mock) until they engage in some other conversation. Lo! in that case (if ye stayed) ye would be like unto them. Lo! Allah will gather hypocrites and disbelievers, all together, into hell
He hath revealed this to you in the Book, that when ye hear the signs of God disbelieved in and mocked at, then sit ye not down with them until they plunge into another discourse, for verily, then ye would be like them. Verily, God will gather the hypocrites and misbelievers into hell together
And already hath He sent this down to you in the Book "WHEN YE SHALL HEAR THE SIGNS OF GOD THEY SHALL NOT BE BELIEVED BUT SHALL BE MOCKED AT." Sit ye not therefore with such, until they engage in other discourse; otherwise, ye will become like them. Verily God will gather the hypocrites and the infidels all together in Hell
And he hath already revealed unto you, in the book of the Koran, the following passage, when ye shall hear the signs of God, they shall not be believed, but they shall be laughed to scorn. Therefore sit not with them who believe not, until they engage in different discourse; for if ye do ye will certainly become like unto them. God will surely gather the ungodly and the unbelievers together in hell

Those who wait upon occasion in regard to you and, if a victory cometh unto you from Allah, say: Are we not with you? and if the disbelievers meet with a success say: Had we not the mastery of you, and did we not protect you from the believers? - Allah will judge between you at the Day of Resurrection, and Allah will not give the disbelievers any way (of success) against the believers
Those who lie in wait for you, and if the victory be yours from God, say, 'Were we not with you?' and if the misbelievers have a chance, they say, 'Did we not get the mastery over you, and defend you from the believers?' But God shall judge between you on the resurrection day; for God will not give the misbelievers a way against believers
They watch you narrowly. Then if God grant you a victory, they say, "Are we not with you?" and if the infidels meet with a success, they say to them, "Were we not superior to you: and did we not defend you from those believers?" God shall judge betwixt ye on the day of the resurrection, and God will by no means make a way for the infidels over the believers
They who wait to observe what befalleth you, if victory be granted you from God, say, were we not with you? But if any advantage happen to the infidels, they say unto them, were we not superior to you, and have we not defended you against the believers? God shall judge between you on the day of resurrection; and God will not grant the unbelievers means to prevail over the faithful

হে মুমিনগণ! তোমরা ইয়াহূদী ও খ্রিস্টানদেরকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করো না। তারা একে অপরের বন্ধু। আর তোমাদের মধ্যে যে তাদের সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করবে, সে নিশ্চয় তাদেরই একজন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহযালিম সম্প্রদায়কে হিদায়াত দেন না।
O vi koji vjerujete, ne uzimajte za zaštitnike i prijatelje jevreje i kršćane! Oni su sami sebi zaštitnici i prijatelji! A njihov je i onaj među vama koji ih za zaštitnike i prijatelje prihvati; Allah, uistinu, neće uputiti na Pravi put ljude nepravedne.

ჰეი, თქვენ, რომელთაც ირწმუნეთ! ნუ აირჩევთ იუდეველებსა და ქრისტიანებს თქვენს მოკავშირეებად (და ახლო მეგობრებად), რადგან ზოგი მათგანი სხვების მოკავშირეა. და ვინც თქვენგან მათ აირჩევს მეგობრებად, ის თვითონაც მათგანია. ჭეშმარიტად, ალლაჰი არ მიუძღვება (სიკეთისკენ) უსამართლოებს.
O die ihr glaubt, nehmt nicht die Juden und die Christen zu Schutzherren! Die einen von ihnen sind Schutzherren der anderen. Und wer von euch sie zu Schutzherren nimmt, der gehört fürwahr zu ihnen. Wahrlich, Allah leitet das ungerechte Volk nicht recht.
Ω, εσείς που πιστεύετε! Μην πάρετε τους Εβραίους και τους Χριστιανούς ως κηδεμόνες, είναι κηδεμόνες ο ένας του άλλου. Όποιος απ' εσάς τους παίρνει ως κηδεμόνες, είναι πράγματι ένας απ' αυτούς. Πράγματι, ο Αλλάχ δεν καθοδηγεί τον άδικο λαό.
ऐ ईमान वालो! तुम यहूदियों तथा ईसाइयों को मित्र न बनाओ। वे परस्पर एक-दूसरे के मित्र हैं। और तुममें से जो उन्हें मित्र बनाएगा, तो निश्चय वह उन्हीं में से है। निःसंदेह अल्लाह अत्याचारियों को मार्गदर्शन प्रदान नहीं करता।
O credenti, non prendetevi gli ebrei e i nazareni per sostenitori: loro sono sostenitori gli uni degli altri; chi lo farà sarà in verità dei loro! In verità Allāh non guida il popolo ingiusto.
51. O jūs, kurie tikite! Nelaikykite judėjų ir krikščionių Aulija (draugais, globėjais, padėjėjais). Jie yra Aulija tik vienas kitam. Ir jei kuris iš jūsų laiko juos (Aulija), tada tikrai jis yra vienas iš jų. Iš tiesų, Allahas neveda teisingu keliu tų žmonių, kurie yra Zalimūn (daugiadieviai ir nusidėjėliai ir neteisingieji).
Yaa warra amantan! Yahuudotaafi Kiristaanotas jaalallee keessoo hin godhatinaa. Gariin isaanii jaalallee gariiti, Isin irraa namni jaalallee isaan godhate inni isaanuma irraayyi. Rabbiin ummata miidhaa hojjattoota hin qajeelchu. [22]
О вы, которые уверовали! Не берите иудеев и христиан покровителями: одни из них — покровители других. Кто из вас возьмёт их себе в покровители, то он — один из них. Воистину, Аллах не наставляет на верный путь людей несправедливых.
О ви који верујете, не узимајте за заштитнике и присне пријатеље Јевреје и хришћане! Они су сами себи заштитници и пријатељи! А њихов је и онај међу вама који их за заштитнике и пријатеље прихвати; Аллах, уистину, неће да упути на прави пут људе неправденике.
Enyi mlioamini! Msiwafanye Mayahudi na Wakristo kuwa ni marafiki wandani. Wao kwa wao ni marafiki wandani. Na mwenye kuwafanya marafiki wandani miongoni mwenu, basi huyo hakika ni miongoni mwao. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu hawaongoi kaumu madhalimu.
Troende! Ta inte judarna och de kristna som allierade; de allierar sig endast med sina egna. Den av er som allierar sig med dem blir en av dem. Gud vägleder sannerligen inte orättfärdiga människor.
Ey İman edenler! Yahudi ve Hristiyanları veli/dost edinmeyin. Onlar birbirlerinin velileridir. Sizden kim onları veli edinirse, o da onlardandır. Allah, zalim topluma hidayet vermez.

So judge between them by that which Allah hath revealed, and follow not their desires, but beware of them lest they seduce thee from some part of that which Allah hath revealed unto thee. And if they turn away, then know that Allah's Will is to smite them for some sin of theirs. Lo! many of mankind are evil-livers
Wherefore judge thou between them by what God has revealed, and follow not their lusts; but beware lest they mislead thee from part of what God has revealed to thee; yet if they turn back, then know that God wishes to fall on them for some sins of theirs, - verily, many men are evildoers
Wherefore do thou judge between them, by what God hath sent down, and follow not their wishes! but be on thy guard against them lest they beguile thee from any of those precepts which God hath sent down to thee; and if they turn back, then know thou that for some of their crimes doth God choose to punish them: for truly most men are perverse
Wherefore do thou, O prophet, judge between them according to that which God hath revealed and follow not their desires; but beware of them, lest they cause thee to err from part of those precepts which God hath sent down unto thee; and if they turn back, know that God is pleased to punish them for some of their crimes; for a great number of men are transgressors

Is it the laws of the time of ignorance that they desire? Who is better than God in judgment for people who are certain?
Is it a judgment of the time of (pagan) ignorance that they are seeking? Who is better than Allah for judgment to a people who have certainty (in their belief)
Is it the judgment of the Ignorance they crave? but who is better than God to judge for people who are sure
Desire they, therefore, the judgments of the times of(pagan) ignorance? But what better judge can there be than God for those who believe firmly
Do they therefore desire the judgment of the time of ignorance? But who is better than God, to judge between people who reason aright

DIN 31635fatarā llaḏīna fī qulūbihim maraḍun yusāriʿūna fīhim yaqūlūna naḫšā ʾan tuṣībanā dāʾiratun faʿasā llāhu ʾan yaʾtiya bil-fatḥi ʾaw ʾamrin min ʿindihi fayuṣbiḥū ʿalā mā ʾasarrū fī ʾanfusihim nādimīna
The translators word this verse differently
You will see those in whose hearts is sickness racing towards them. They say, "We fear the wheel of fate may turn against us." But perhaps God will bring about victory, or some event of His making; thereupon they will regret what they concealed within themselves.
And thou seest those in whose heart is a disease race toward them, saying: We fear lest a change of fortune befall us. And it may happen that Allah will vouchsafe (unto thee) the victory, or a commandment from His presence. Then will they repent them of their secret thoughts
Thou wilt see those in whose hearts is a sickness vieing with them; they say, 'We fear lest there befall us a reverse.' It may be God will give the victory, or an order from Himself, and they may awake repenting of what they thought in secret to themselves
So shalt thou see the diseased at heart speed away to them, and say, "We fear lest a change of fortune befall us." But haply God will of himself bring about some victory or event of His own ordering: then soon will they repent them of their secret imaginings
Thou shalt see those in whose hearts there is an infirmity, to hasten unto them, saying, we fear lest some adversity befall us; but it is easy for God to give victory, or a command from Him, that they may repent of that which they concealed in their minds
وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَقْسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ إِنَّهُمْ لَمَعَكُمْ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ خَٰسِرِينَ

Those who believe will say, "Are these the ones who swore by God with their strongest oaths that they are with you?" Their works have failed, so they became losers.
Then will the believers say (unto the people of the Scripture): are these they who swore by Allah their most binding oaths that they were surely with you? Their works have failed, and they have become the losers
Those who believe say, 'Are these they who swore by God with their most strenuous oath that they were surely with you?' - their works are in vain and they shall wake the losers
Then will the faithful say, "What! are these they who swore, by their most solemn oath, that they were surely with you?" Vain their works; and themselves shall come to ruin
And they who believe will say, are these the men who have sworn by God, with a most firm oath, that they surely held with you? Their works are become vain, and they are of those who perish

O vi koji vjerujete, ne uzimajte za zaštitnike i prijatelje one koji vašu vjeru za podsmijeh i zabavu uzimaju, bili to oni kojima je data Knjiga prije vas, ili bili nevjernici – i Allaha se bojte ako ste vjernici.

ჰეი, თქვენ, რომელთაც ირწმუნეთ! ნუ აირჩევთ მოკავშირეებად მათ, ვინც თქვენს სარწმუნოებას დაცინვად და გასართობად მიიჩნევს, იმათგან, ვისაც თქვენამდე მიეცათ წიგნი და ურწმუნოთაგან [მრავალღმერთიანთაგან]. და გეშინოდეთ ალლაჰის, თუ მართლაც მორწმუნეები ხართ.
O die ihr glaubt, nehmt nicht diejenigen, die sich über eure Religion lustig machen und sie zum Gegenstand des Spiels nehmen, von denjenigen, denen vor euch die Schrift gegeben wurde, und die Ungläubigen zu Schutzherren. Und fürchtet Allah, wenn ihr (wirklich) Gläubige seid!
Ω, εσείς που πιστεύετε! Μην παίρνετε ως κηδεμόνες (και υποστηρικτές) ούτε εκείνους που πήραν τη θρησκεία σας ως κάτι αστείο και παιχνίδι, απ' αυτούς (τους Εβραίους και τους Χριστιανούς) στους οποίους δόθηκε το Βιβλίο πριν απ' εσάς, ούτε τους άπιστους. Και φυλαχθείτε από την τιμωρία του Αλλάχ (τηρώντας τις εντολές Του) αν είστε πράγματι πιστοί.
ऐ ईमान वालो! उन लोगों को जिन्होंने तुम्हारे धर्म को उपहास और खेल बना लिया, उन लोगों में से जिन्हें तुमसे पहले पुस्तक दी गई है और काफ़िरों को मित्र न बनाओ और अल्लाह से डरो, यदि तुम ईमान वाले हो।
O credenti, non prendete come sostenitori quelli che si prendono gioco della vostra religione e la disprezzano, tra quelli che hanno avuto il Libro prima di voi, e i miscredenti, e temete Allāh se siete veramente dei credenti!
57. O jūs, kurie tikite! Nelaikykite Aulyja (globėjais arba padėjėjais) tų, kurie laiko jūsų tikėjimą pajuokos objektu ir pokštu, iš tų tarpo, kurie gavo Raštą (judėjų ir krikščionių) iki jūsų, anei netikinčiųjų tarpo. Ir bijokite Allaho, jei jūs iš tiesų esate tikri tikintieji.
isin Yaa warra amantan! Warra amantii teessan qishinaafi tapha taasisan kan warra isin dura kitaaba kennamaniifi kaafiroota irraa ta’an jaalallee hin taasifatinaa, Yoo mu’uminoota taataniif Rabbiin sodaadhaa. [24]
О вы, которые уверовали! Не берите в покровители тех, которые обратили вашу религию в предмет насмешек и игру — из числа тех, кому было даровано Писание до вас, и из числа отвергших веру. И бойтесь Аллаха, если вы являетесь верующими.
О ви који верујете, не узимајте за заштитнике и пријатеље оне који узимају вашу веру за подсмех и забаву, били то они којима је пре вас дата Књига, или били неверници - и Аллаха се бојте ако сте верници.
Enyi mlioamini! Msiwafanye marafiki wandani wale walioifanyia kejeli na mchezo Dini yenu miongoni mwa wale waliopewa Kitabu kabla yenu, na makafiri wengine. Na mcheni Mwenyezi Mungu ikiwa nyinyi ni Waumini.
Troende! Alliera er inte med de som gör er tro till föremål för hån och skämt, vare sig bland de som mottog skriften före er tid eller bland de otrogna. Frukta i stället Gud, om ni är sanna troende.
Ey iman edenler! Kendilerine sizden önce kitap verilenlerden dininizi alay ve eğlenceye alanları ve kâfirleri veli edinmeyin. Mümin iseniz ancak Allah'tan sakının/takvalı olun.
مسلمانو! ان لوگوں کو دوست نہ بناؤ جو تمہارے دین کو ہنسی کھیل بنائے ہوئے ہیں (خواه) وه ان میں سے ہوں جو تم سے پہلے کتاب دیئے گئے یا کفار ہوں[1] اگر تم مومن ہو تو اللہ تعالیٰ سے ڈرتے رہو۔

Your allies are God, and His Messenger, and those who believe-those who pray regularly, and give charity, and bow down.
Your guardian can be only Allah; and His messenger and those who believe, who establish worship and pay the poordue, and bow down (in prayer)
God only is your patron, and His Apostle and those who believe, who are steadfast in prayer and give alms, bowing down
Verily, your protector is God and His Apostle, and those who believe, who observe prayer, and pay the alms of obligation, and who bow in worship

Nor those who, when ye call to prayer, take it for a jest and a sport; that is because they are a people who do not understand
Nor those who when ye call to prayer, make it an object of raillery and derision. This they do because they are a people who understand not
nor those who, when ye call to prayer, make a laughing-stock and a jest of it, this they do, because they are people who do not understand

Say, "O People of the Scripture! Do you resent us only because we believe in God, and in what was revealed to us, and in what was revealed previously; and most of you are sinners?"
Say: O People of the Scripture! Do ye blame us for aught else than that we believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto us and that which was revealed aforetime, and because most of you are evil-livers
Say, 'O people of the Book! do ye disavow us, for aught but that we believe in God, and what was revealed to us before, and for that most of you are evildoers
SAY: O people of the Book! do ye not disavow us only because we believe in God, and in what He hath sent down to us, and in what He hath sent down aforetime, and because most of you are doers of ill
Say, O ye who have received the scriptures, do ye reject us for any other reason than because we believe in God, and that revelation which hath been sent down unto us, and that which was formerly sent down, and for that the greater part of you are transgressors

As to those who have not born arms against you on account of religion, nor turned you out of your dwellings, God forbideth you not to deal kindly with them, and to behave justly towards them; for God loveth those who act justly

60:8 Allahu nuk ju ndalon të silleni me mirësi e me drejtësi ndaj atyre që nuk ju luftuan për shkak të fesë dhe nuk ju dëbuan prej shtëpive tuaja. Me të vërtetë, Allahu i do të drejtët.
60:9 Allahu ju ndalon vetëm që të merrni për miq ata që ju luftuan për shkak të fesë, ju dëbuan nga shtëpitë tuaja dhe ndihmuan në dëbimin tuaj. Ata që i marrin të tillët për miq, vërtet janë zullumqarë.
60:8 দ্বীনের ব্যাপারে যারা তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করেনি এবং তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের বাড়ি-ঘর থেকে বের করে দেয়নি, তাদের প্রতি সদয় ব্যবহার করতে এবং তাদের প্রতি ন্যায়বিচার করতে আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে নিষেধ করছেন না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ন্যায় পরায়ণদেরকে ভালোবাসেন।
60:9 আল্লাহ কেবল তাদের সাথেই বন্ধুত্ব করতে নিষেধ করেছেন, যারা দ্বীনের ব্যাপারে তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করেছে এবং তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের ঘর-বাড়ি থেকে বের করে দিয়েছে ও তোমাদেরকে বের করে দেয়ার ব্যাপারে একে অন্যকে সহযোগিতা করেছে। এরপরও (তোমাদের মধ্যে) যারা তাদের সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করে, তারাই তো যালিম।
60:8 Allah vam ne zabranjuje da činite dobro i da budete pravedni prema onima koji nisu ratovali protiv vas zbog vjere i koji vas iz domova vaših nisu izgnali – Allah, zaista, voli one koji su pravični,

60:9 Kono Alla haɗata on ko ɓeen haɓatooɓe on e diine yaltinooɓe on galleeji mon ɓe mballandiri e yaltinde on, nde keetnaton ɓe kala baɗɗo ɓe keeda ko ɓeen ngoni tooñooɓe.
60:8 ალლაჰი არ გიკრძალავთ თქვენ მათ მიმართ, რომელთაც არ გებრძოდნენ რწმენის გამო და არ გამოუგდიხართ თქვენი სახლებიდან, რომ სიკეთე და კეთილგანწყობა გამოიჩინოთ და სამართლიანად მოეპყროთ. უეჭველად, ალლაჰს უყვარს სამართლიანნი.
60:9 ალლაჰი მხოლოდ გიკრძალავთ მათთან (მეგობრობას), რომელნიც გებრძოდნენ რწმენის გამო, გაგაძევეს თქვენი სახლებიდან და ეხმარებოდნენ სხვებს თქვენს გაძევებაში, რომ დაუმეგობრდეთ მათ. და ვინც მათ დაუმეგობრდება, სწორედ ისინი არიან უსამართლონი.
60:8 Allah verbietet euch nicht, gegenüber denjenigen, die nicht gegen euch der Religion wegen gekämpft und euch nicht aus euren Wohnstätten vertrieben haben, gütig zu sein und sie gerecht zu behandeln. Wahrlich, Allah liebt die Gerechten.
60:9 Vielmehr verbietet Er euch nur diejenigen, die gegen euch der Religion wegen gekämpft und euch aus euren Wohnstätten vertrieben und zu eurer Vertreibung Beistand geleistet haben, zu Schutzherren zu nehmen. Diejenigen, die sie zu Schutzherren nehmen, jene sind die Ungerechten.
60:8 Ο Αλλάχ δεν σας απαγορεύει να συμπεριφέρεστε με καλοσύνη και δίκαια σ' εκείνους (τους άπιστους) που δεν σας πολέμησαν εξαιτίας της θρησκείας, ούτε σας εκδίωξαν από τα σπίτια σας. Στ' αλήθεια, ο Αλλάχ αγαπά τους δίκαιους.
60:9 Σας απαγορεύει όμως ο Αλλάχ, αυτούς που σας πολέμησαν εξαιτίας της θρησκείας, και σας εκδίωξαν από τα σπίτια σας, και βοήθησαν στην εκδίωξή σας, να τους παίρνετε ως φίλους και συμμάχους. Και όποιοι τους παίρνουν ως φίλους και συμμάχους, τότε είναι οι άδικοι (και οι ανυπάκουοι προς τον Αλλάχ).
60:8 अल्लाह तुम्हें इससे नहीं रोकता कि तुम उन लोगों से अच्छा व्यवहार करो और उनके साथ न्याय करो, जिन्होंने तुमसे धर्म के विषय में युद्ध नहीं किया और न तुम्हें तुम्हारे घरों से निकाला। निश्चय अल्लाह न्याय करने वालों[5] से प्रेम करता है।
60:9 अल्लाह तो तुम्हें केवल उन लोगों से मैत्री रखने से रोकता है, जिन्होंने तुमसे धर्म के विषय में युद्ध किया तथा तुम्हें तुम्हारे घरों से निकाला और तुम्हें निकालने में एक-दूसरे की सहायता की। और जो उनसे मैत्री करेगा, तो वही लोग अत्याचारी हैं।
60:8 Allāh non vi dissuase – nei riguardi di quelli che non vi combatterono a causa della religione e non vi fecero uscire dalle vostre case – dal beneficiarli e dal trattarli con giustizia. In verità Allāh ama i giusti.
60:9 In verità Allāh vi dissuase – nei riguardi di quelli che vi combatterono a causa della religione e vi fecero uscire dalle vostre case e appoggiarono il vostro esilio – dal prenderli per alleati. E chi lo farà, sarà in verità tra gli ingiusti.
60:8 8. Allahas nedraudžia jums tų, kurie nekovoja su jumis dėl religijos ir neišvaro jūsų iš jūsų namų – (nedraudžia) elgtis dorai ir teisingai su jais. Iš tiesų, Allahas myli teisinguosius.
60:9 9. Allahas tik draudžia jums tuos, kurie kovoja su jumis dėl religijos ir išvaro jus iš jūsų namų, ir padeda jūsų ištrėmime – (draudžia) jums laikyti juos sąjungininkais. Ir kas laiko juos sąjungininkais, tai jie yra Zalimūn (bloga darantieji, kurie nepaklūsta Allahui).
60:8 Rabbiin (tola itti ooluu) isin hindhoowwu isaan amantii keessatti isin hin waraaniniifi manneen keessan irraa isin hin baasiniif tola ooluufi haqaa isaanitti hojjachuu isin hin dhorgu. Rabbiin warra haqa dalagan jaalata. [6]
60:9 Kan Rabbiin (jaalallee godhachuu) isin dhorgu warra sababaa amantiitiin isin waraananiifi manneen keessan irraa isin baasan, akkasumas isin baasuu irratti gargaaran isin isaan jaalalloo godhachuu (irraa isin dhoowwa). Namni isaan jaalalloo godhate, isaan isaanumaatu zaalimoota.
60:8 Аллах не запрещает вам проявлять добродетель и быть справедливыми к тем, которые не сражались с вами из-за вашей религии и не изгоняли вас из ваших домов. Воистину, Аллах любит справедливых.
60:9 Аллах запрещает вам лишь брать в покровители тех, которые сражались с вами из-за религии, изгоняли вас из ваших жилищ и содействовали вашему изгнанию. А кто берёт их в покровители — такие и есть несправедливые.
60:8 Аллах вам не забрањује да чините добро и да будете праведни према онима који нису ратовали против вас због вере и који вас из ваших домова нису изгнали - Аллах, заиста, воли оне који су праведни,
60:9 али вам забрањује да будете блиски са онима који су ратовали против вас због вере ваше и који су вас из домова ваших изгнали и који су помогли да будете прогнани. Они који су са њима блиски су неправедни.
60:8 Mwenyezi Mungu hakukatazini kuwafanyia wema na uadilifu wale ambao hawakukupigeni vita, wala hawakukutoeni makwenu. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu huwapenda wafanyao uadilifu.
60:9 Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anakukatazeni kufanya urafiki wa kusaidiana nao, na wale waliokupigeni vita kwa sababu ya dini, na wakakutoeni makwenu, na wakasaidia katika kufukuzwa kwenu. Na wanaowafanya hao marafiki, basi hao ndio madhalimu.
60:8 Gud förbjuder er inte att vara goda och rättvisa mot de som varken har stridit mot er på grund av er tro eller fördrivit er ur era hem; Gud älskar de rättvisa.
60:9 Gud förbjuder er endast att alliera er med de som har stridit mot er på grund av er tro och fördrivit er ur era hem och bistått andra i att driva bort er. De som allierar sig med dessa är sannerligen orättfärdiga.
60:8 Allah; sizinle din hususunda savaşmayan, sizi yurdunuzdan çıkarmayan kimselere iyilik etmenizi, onlara adaletli davranmanızı yasaklamaz. Şüphesiz Allah, adil olanları sever.
60:9 Allah; ancak sizinle din hususunda savaşan, sizi yurtlarınızdan çıkaran ve çıkarılmanıza yardım edenlerle dost olmanızı yasaklar. Kim onları dost edinirse, işte onlar zalimlerin ta kendileridir.
60:8 جن لوگوں نے تم سے دین کے بارے میں لڑائی نہیں لڑی[1] اور تمہیں جلاوطن نہیں کیا[2] ان کے ساتھ سلوک واحسان کرنے اور منصفانہ بھلے برتاؤ کرنے سے اللہ تعالیٰ تمہیں نہیں روکتا[3]، بلکہ اللہ تعالیٰ تو انصاف کرنے والوں سے محبت کرتا ہے.[4]
60:9 اللہ تعالیٰ تمہیں صرف ان لوگوں کی محبت سے روکتا ہے جنہوں نے تم سے دین کے بارے میں لڑائیاں لڑیں اور تمہیں شہر سے نکال دیئے اور شہر سے نکالنے والوں کی مدد کی جو لوگ ایسے کفار سے محبت کریں[1] وه (قطعاً) ﻇالم ہیں.[2]

O ye who believe! When believing women come unto you as fugitives, examine them. Allah is Best Aware of their faith. Then, if ye know them for true believers, send them not back unto the disbelievers. They are not lawful for them (the disbelievers), nor are they (the disbelievers) lawful for them. And give them (the disbelievers) that which they have spent (upon them). And it is no sin for you to marry such women when ye have given them their dues. And hold not to the ties of disbelieving women; and ask for (the return of) that which ye have spent; and let them (the disbelievers) ask for that which they have spent. That is the judgment of Allah. He judgeth between you. Allah is Knower, Wise

God best knoweth their faith; but if ye have also ascertained their faith, let them not go back to the infidels; they are not lawful for them, nor are the unbelievers lawful for these women. But give them back what they have spent for their dowers. No crime shall it be in you to marry them, provided ye give them their dowers. Do not retain any right in the infidel women, but demand back what you have spent for their dowers, and let the unbelievers demand back what they have spent for their wives. If any of your wives desert you to the unbelievers, and you decide to penalize them, give those whose wives have gone away the equivalent of what they had spent. And fear God, in whom you are believers.
And if any of your wives have gone from you unto the disbelievers and afterward ye have your turn (of triumph), then give unto those whose wives have gone the like of that which they have spent, and keep your duty to Allah in Whom ye are believers
And if any of your wives escape from you to the misbelievers, and your turn comes, then give to those whose wives have gone away the like of what they have spent; and fear God, in whom it is that ye believe
And if any of your wives escape from you to the Infidels from whom ye afterwards take any spoil, then give to those whose wives shall have fled away, the like of what they shall have spent for their dowers; and fear God in whom ye believe
If any of your wives escape from you to the unbelievers, and ye have your turn by the coming over of any of the unbelievers wives to you; give unto those believers whose wives shall have gone away, out of the dowries of the latter, so much as they shall have expended for the dowers of the former: And fear God, in whom ye believe

O true believers, contract not an intimate friendship with any besides your selves: They will not fail to corrupt you. They wish for that which may cause you to perish: Their hatred hath already appeared from out of their mouths; but what their breasts conceal is yet more inveterate. We have already shewn you signs of their ill will towards you, if ye understand

ऐ ईमान वालो! तुम अपनों के सिवा किसी दूसरे को अपना अंतरंग मित्र न बनाओ,[65] वे तुम्हें बर्बाद करने में कोई कमी नहीं करते। उन्हें वही बात भाती है, जिससे तुम्हें कष्ट पहुँचे। उनके मुखों से शत्रुता प्रकट हो चुकी है तथा जो उनके दिल छुपा रखे हैं, वह इससे बढ़कर है। हमने तुम्हारे लिए आयतों का वर्णन कर दिया है, यदि तुम समझबूझ रखते हो।

118. O jūs, kurie tikite! Nelaikykite (savo) Bitana (patarėjais, konsultantais, globėjais, padėjėjais, draugais) tų, kurie yra už jūsų tikėjimo ribų (pagonių, judėjų, krikščionių ir veidmainių), nes jie nepagailės jums pražūties. Jie trokšta jums smarkiai pakenkti. Neapykanta jau pasirodė iš jų burnų, tačiau tai, ką slepia jų krūtinės, yra daug blogiau. Iš tiesų, Mes padarėme Ajat (įrodymus, įkalčius, eilutes) aiškias jums, jei jūs suprantate.

Enyi mlioamini! Msiwafanye wandani wenu kuwa watu wasiokuwa katika nyinyi. Hawataacha kuwafikishia lolote la kuwadhuru. Wanapenda mngepata taabu. Imekwishadhihirika chuki yao kutoka katika midomo yao. Na yanayofichwa na vifua vyao ni makubwa zaidi.Tumekwishawabainishia Ishara ikiwa nyinyi mnatumia akili.
Troende! Ta inte till förtrogna sådana som står utanför er gemenskap. De sparar ingen ansträngning för att skada er och önskar er svårigheter. Hatet flödar redan ur deras munnar, men det som döljs i deras inre är ännu värre. Vi har klargjort tecknen för er, om ni använder ert förstånd.
Ey iman edenler! Sizden olmayanı sırdaş edinmeyin. Zira onlar size ellerinden gelen her türlü kötülüğü yaparlar, size sıkıntı verecek şeyleri arzu ederler. Öfkeleri ağızlarından taşmaktadır. İçlerinde gizledikleri (nefret) ise daha da büyüktür. Eğer düşünüp anlıyorsanız size âyetleri açıkladık.
اے ایمان والو! تم اپنا دلی دوست ایمان والوں کے سوا اور کسی کو نہ بناؤ[1] ۔ (تم تو) نہیں دیکھتے دوسرے لوگ تمہاری تباہی میں کوئی کسر اٹھا نہیں رکھتے، وه تو چاہتے ہیں کہ تم دکھ میں پڑو[2] ان کی عداوت تو خود ان کی زبان سے بھی ﻇاہر ہو چکی ہے اور جو ان کے سینوں میں پوشیده ہے وه بہت زیاده ہے، ہم نے تمہارے لئے آیتیں بیان کر دیں اگر عقلمند ہو (تو غور کرو).

The parable of what they spend in this worldly life is that of a frosty wind that strikes the harvest of a people who have wronged their souls, and destroys it. God did not wrong them, but they wronged their own selves.
The likeness of that which they spend in this life of the world is as the likeness of a biting, icy wind which smiteth the harvest of a people who have wronged themselves, and devastateth it. Allah wronged them not, but they do wrong themselves
The likeness of what they expend in this life of the world, is as the likeness of wind wherein is a cold blast that falls upon a people's tilth who have wronged themselves and destroys it. It is not God who wrongs them, but it is themselves they wrong
The alms which they bestow in this present life, are like a freezing wind, which falleth upon and destroyeth the cornfields of a people who have been to themselves unjust. God doeth them no injustice, but to themselves are they unjust
The likeness of that which they lay out in this present life, is as a wind wherein there is a scorching cold: It falleth on the standing corn of those men who have injured their own souls, and destroyeth it. And God dealeth not unjustly with them; but they injure their own souls

Lo! ye are those who love them though they love you not, and ye believe in all the Scripture. When they fall in with you they say: We believe; but when they go apart they bite their finger-tips at you, for rage. Say: Perish in your rage! Lo! Allah is Aware of what is hidden in (your) breasts
Ye it is who love them, but they love not you; and ye believe in the Book, all of it. But when they meet you they say, 'We believe;' and when they go aside they bite their finger tips at you through rage. Say, 'Die in your rage, for God doth know the nature of men's breasts

Read across the four public-domain translations - Sale 1734, Rodwell 1861, Palmer 1880, Pickthall 1930 - of 2:257, 3:28, 4:89, 4:139, in full, and nothing else. No , no , no occasion of revelation and no biography was consulted, because none has cleared the rights audit. Itani 2012, the fifth translation shown with these verses, was not consulted for this study.
Extended by four entries. The question is most often put with 5:51, which names the Jews and the Christians, and the set did not carry it. It is now carried, with 5:57 and 3:118, which also forbid taking certain people as friends, patrons or intimates, and 60:8-9, which says in two verses whom the prohibition covers and whom it does not. They were read across the same four translations as the rest of the set, in full; Itani was not consulted for them either. Probes over those four, whole word: 'friends' returns 44 verses and reaches 5:51 in Pickthall, Rodwell and Sale, 5:57 in Rodwell and Sale, and 60:9 in Pickthall and Rodwell; 'patrons' returns 36 and reaches 5:51, 5:57 and 60:9 in Palmer alone; 'guardians' returns 12 and reaches 5:57 in Pickthall alone; 'intimates', 'intimacy', 'intimacies' or 'intimate' returns 4 and reaches 3:118 in all four; 'forbid' and its forms return 48 and reach 60:8 and 60:9 in all four.
How this set was arrived at. Candidates came from a conjunctive word search over all four renderings, returned in mushaf order with no relevance ordering, and verses matched in all four were carried forward. Two verses that matched the search on wording alone were proposed for removal and confirmed out. One matched on friendship. It is about a day on which there will be no trafficking, friendship or intercession, and concerns the hereafter, not who may be befriended now. The other matched on friend. It says God took Abraham for a friend, which is the word used of God and a prophet, not a rule about the believers' company. Why each verse is in the study is stated per verse in the selection, and is signed with this prose.
Where the renderings part company, named rather than resolved. The study names the differences it turns on and does not choose between them.
