- The surah says: Noah was sent to warn his people of a painful punishment (71:1), calling them to worship God and obey him (71:3); they thrust their fingers into their ears (71:7); he told them to ask their Lord for forgiveness, who would send rain and give them wealth and children (71:10-12); they held to their gods, naming them (71:23), and were drowned for their wrongs (71:25); and Noah asked that no unbeliever be left on earth (71:26).

Surah Nooh runs from 71:1 to 71:28. It opens with Noah sent to warn his people, and gives his words to them and to his Lord. He tells his Lord how he called them night and day, openly and in private, and how they put their fingers in their ears; he reports that he told them to ask forgiveness of their Lord, who would send rain and give them wealth, children, gardens and rivers, and that he pointed them to their creation, the seven heavens, the moon and the sun, and the earth spread out for them. He then tells his Lord that they disobeyed him, plotted, and said not to leave their gods, who are named. It says they were drowned because of their sins, and closes on Noah asking that none of the unbelievers be left on the earth, and asking forgiveness for himself, his parents and the believers.

‘আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য তোমাদের পাপসমূহ ক্ষমা করবেন এবং (দুনিয়াতে) তোমাদেরকে নির্দিষ্ট সময়কাল পর্যন্ত (বেচে থাকার) অবকাশ দিবেন; আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত সময় আসলে কিছুতেই তা (মৃত্যু) বিলম্বিত করা হয় না, যদি তোমরা জানতে!’

(თუ დამემორჩილებით) ის შეგინდობთ თქვენს ცოდვებს და გადაგივადებთ დათქმულ დრომდე. უეჭველად, ალლაჰის მიერ დათქმული ვადა, როცა მოვა, არ გადაიდება, თქვენ რომ იცოდეთ!»
Er wird euch (dann etwas) von euren Sünden vergeben und euch auf eine festgesetzte Frist zurückstellen. Wahrlich, die Frist Allahs, wenn sie kommt, kann nicht zurückgestellt werden, wenn ihr nur wüsstet!“
(Και τότε ο Αλλάχ) θα σας συγχωρέσει τις αμαρτίες σας και θα σας δώσει αναβολή (για το θάνατό σας) μέχρι έναν ορισμένο χρόνο. Πράγματι, όταν έλθει ο ορισμένος χρόνος (δηλ. ο θάνατος) από τον Αλλάχ, δε θα αναβληθεί, αν μόνο το γνωρίζατε (θα σπεύδατε προς την πίστη και την υπακοή).»
वह तुम्हारे लिए तुम्हारे पापों को क्षमा कर देगा तथा तुम्हें एक निर्धारित समय[1] तक मोहलत देगा। निश्चय जब अल्लाह का निर्धारित समय आ जाता है, तो वह टाला नहीं जाता, काश कि तुम जानते होते।
così che vi perdoni parte dei vostri peccati e vi conceda una proroga a un termine stabilito: in verità il termine di Allāh, quando scade, non si rimanda, se voi sapeste!»
4. Jis (t. y. Allahas) atleis jums jūsų nuodėmes ir atidės jums nustatytam terminui. Iš tiesų, terminas (nustatytas) Allaho, – kai jis ateis, nebus užlaikyta, jei tik jūs žinotumėte.“

Он простит вам [часть] ваших грехов и даст вам отсрочку до назначенного срока. Воистину, срок, [назначенный] Аллахом, когда он наступит, не будет отсрочен. Если бы вы только знали».
Он ће ваше грехе да вам опрости и у животу до одређеног часа да вас остави, а када дође Аллахов час, заиста неће, нека знате, да се одгоди.“

Då förlåter han era synder och låter er leva till en fastställd tid. Men när tidpunkten som Gud har fastställt väl infaller kan den inte skjutas upp, om ni bara visste!”

Madje, sa herë që i thirrja që Ti t’i falje, ata fusnin gishtat në veshë, mbuloheshin me rroba, ngulnin këmbë (në mosbesim) dhe silleshin me mendjemadhësi.

და უეჭველად, ყოველ ჯერზე, როცა მე მათ მოვუწოდებდი (შენს მიმართ რწმენისა და შენდამი სრული დამორჩილებისკენ), რათა შენ მათ (ამით) მიუტევო მათი ცოდვები, ისინი თავიანთ თითებს ყურებში იდებდნენ, და თავიანთი სამოსით იფარებოდნენ (რომ მე არ დამინახონ), ჯიუტად რჩებოდნენ (თავიანთ ურწმუნოებაში) და დიდ ქედმაღლობას ავლენდნენ.
Und wahrlich, jedes Mal, wenn ich sie aufrief, damit Du ihnen vergibst, steckten sie ihre Finger in ihre Ohren, hüllten sich in ihre Gewänder, verharrten (im Irrtum) und verhielten sich sehr hochmütig.
Και στ’ αλήθεια κάθε φορά που τους καλούσα, για να τους συγχωρέσεις, έβαζαν τα δάχτυλά τους στ’ αυτιά τους, καλύπτονταν με τα ενδύματά τους και επέμεναν (στην άρνησή τους), και συμπεριφέρονταν πολύ αλαζονικά.
और निःसंदेह मैंने जब भी उन्हें बुलाया, ताकि तू उन्हें क्षमा कर दे, तो उन्होंने अपनी उँगलियाँ अपने कानों में डाल लीं तथा अपने कपड़े ओढ़ लिए[2] और हठ दिखाया और बड़ा घमंड किया।

and, verily, every time I called them, that Thou mightest pardon them, they placed their fingers in their ears and tried to cover themselves with their garments and persisted, and were very big with pride
So oft as I cry to them, that thou mayest forgive them, they thrust their fingers into their ears, and wrap themselves in their garments, and persist in their error, and are disdainfully disdainful

और वह तुम्हें धन और बच्चों में वृद्धि प्रदान करेगा तथा तुम्हारे लिए बाग़ बना देगा और तुम्हारे लिए नहरें निकाल देगा।

Avete visto come Allāh creò i sette cieli, uno sopra l’altro,
15. Argi neapmąstote, kaip Allahas sukūrė septynis dangus lygiais
Sila isin hin arginee akkamitti Rabbiin samii torban wal jalaa gubbaatti akka uume ?
Неужели вы не видите, как Аллах сотворил семь небес одно над другим,
Зар не видите како је Аллах седам небеса, једно изнад другог, створио
Kwani hamwoni jinsi Mwenyezi Mungu alivyoziumba mbingu saba kwa matabaka?
Har ni inte sett hur Gud har skapat sju himlar, den ena ovanför den andra,
Allah’ın yedi göğü kat kat nasıl yarattığını görmüyor musunuz?
کیا تم نہیں دیکھتے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اوپر تلے کس طرح سات آسمان پیدا کر دیئے ہیں.[1]

и на њима Месец светлим дао, а Сунце светиљком учинио?!
Na akaufanya mwezi ndani yake uwe nuru, na akalifanya jua kuwa taa?
och han har placerat månen i [den lägsta av] dem, som ett ljus, och gjort solen till en skinande lampa?

затем возвратит вас в неё, и непременно выведет вас [из неё] снова.
затим вас у њу враћа и из ње ће сигурно да вас изведе.
Kisha atakurudisheni humo na atakutoeni tena.
Till den ska han föra er tillbaka, och sedan ska han åter ta fram er ur den.
Sonra sizi oraya geri döndürecek ve tekrar oradan çıkaracaktır.
پھر تمہیں اسی میں لوٹا لے جائے گا اور (ایک خاص طریقہ) سے پھر نکالے گا.[1]

Allah sizin için yeryüzünü bir döşek kıldı.

নূহ বললেন, ‘হে আমার রব! তারা আমার অবাধ্য হয়েছে এবং এমন একজনের অনুসরণ করেছে, যার ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি তার ক্ষতি ছাড়া আর কিছুই বাড়ায়নি।’

Nuh sagte: „Mein Herr, sie haben sich mir ja widersetzt und sind jemandem gefolgt, dem sein Besitz und seine Kinder nur den Verlust gemehrt haben.
Ο Νώε είπε: «Κύριέ μου! Στ’ αλήθεια (οι ανυπάκουοι από τον λαό μου) με παράκουσαν, κι (οι αδύναμοι εξ' αυτών) ακολούθησαν αυτούς (τους επικεφαλείς της πλάνης), στους οποίους ο πλούτος και τα παιδιά τους δεν αύξησαν τίποτε, παρά μόνο απώλεια.
नूह ने कहा : ऐ मेरे रब! निःसंदेह उन्होंने मेरी अवज्ञा की और उसका[5] अनुसरण किया, जिसके धन और संतान ने उसकी क्षति ही को बढ़ाया।
Disse Nūħ: «Mio Dio, mi hanno disobbedito e hanno seguito quelli le cui ricchezze e figli aumentano solo la loro rovina.

Nuuhiin ni jedhe: "Gooftaa kiyya! Isaan ajaja kiyya didanii, nama qabeenyi isaatiifi ilmaan isaa hoonga’iinsa malee homaa isaaf hin daballe hordofan.
Нух сказал: «Господь мой! Воистину, они ослушались меня и последовали за тем, кому богатство и дети не приумножили ничего, кроме убытка.
Ноје рече: „Господару мој, они ме не слушају и поводе се за онима чија богатства и деца само њихову пропаст увећавају
Nuhu akasema: Mola wangu Mlezi! Hakika hao wameniasi, na wamemfuata yule ambaye mali yake na wanawe hawakumzidishia ila hasara.
Noa sa: ”Herre! De har trotsat mig och följer sådana vilkas rikedomar och barn bara för dem djupare i fördärv.
Nûh: "Rabbim! Onlar bana isyan ettiler. Malı ve evladı kendisine hüsrandan başka bir şey artırmayan kimseye uyup, tabi oldular." dedi.

Said Noah, 'My Lord! verily, they have rebelled against me, and followed him whose wealth and children have but added to his loss
Said Noah, "O my Lord! they rebel against me, and they follow those whose riches and children do but aggravate their ruin
Noah said, Lord, verily they are disobedient unto me; and they follow him whose riches and children do no other than increase his perdition

და თქვეს: «არ მიატოვოთ თქვენი ღვთაებები და არ მიატოვოთ ვადდი, სუვა'ი, იაღუსი, ია'უყი და ნასრი (კერპები)[1]».
Und sie sagten: ‚Verlasst ja nicht eure Angebeteten; verlasst ja nicht Wadd, noch Suwa', noch Yaghut, Ya'uq und Nasr.‘
Και (τους) είπαν: «Να μην εγκαταλείψετε τους θεούς σας: να μην εγκαταλείψετε ούτε τον Ουάντ, ούτε τον Σουά‘, ούτε τον Γιαγούθ, ούτε τον Για‘ούκ, ούτε τον Νάσρ (Αυτά ήταν ονόματα ειδώλων που λάτρευαν αντί του Αλλάχ, τα οποία προέρχονταν από ονόματα ευσεβών ανθρώπων, τους οποίους όταν πέθαναν, οι λαοί τους τους έκαναν εικόνες και αγάλματα, ώστε να τους ενθαρρύνουν προς την υπακοή στον Αλλάχ. Με το πέρασμα των χρόνων, οι άνθρωποι άρχισαν να λατρεύουν αυτά τα αγάλματα και τις εικόνες).»
और उन्होंने कहा : तुम अपने पूज्यों को कदापि न छोड़ना, और न कभी वद्द को छोड़ना, और न सुवाअ को और न यग़ूस और यऊक़ तथा नस्र[6] को।

‘Gabbaramtoota keessan hin dhiisinaa; waddi, suwaa'i, yaghuus, ya'uuqiifi nasriinis hin dhiisinaa' (waliin) jedhan.[3]

უეჭველად, მათ ბევრი (ადამიანი) შეიყვანეს შეცდომაში. და (შემდეგ) ნუჰმა თქვა: «ო, ალლაჰო! ნუ გაუზრდი უსამართლოებს არაფერს, გარდა გზააბნევისა!»
Und sie haben ja viele in die Irre geführt. So lasse die Ungerechten nur noch tiefer in die Irre gehen.“
Και πράγματι έχουν παραπλανήσει πολλούς. (Ω, Αλλάχ:) Μην αυξήσεις τους άδικους, παρά μόνο στην πλάνη.»
और निश्चय उन्होंने बहुत-से लोगों को पथभ्रष्ट कर दिया। तथा तू अत्याचारियों की पथभ्रष्टता[7] ही में वृद्धि कर।
E loro hanno sviato molti. E non aumentare agli ingiusti altro che la perdizione!»
24. Ir jau paklaidino jie daugelį. Ir (mano Viešpatie), nepadidink nusidėjėliams nieko kito, tik klaidą.“
Dhugumatti, (namoota) baay'ee jallisaniiru. Miidhaa raawwattootaaf jallinna malee hin dabalin.”
Они уже ввели в заблуждение многих. И не приумножай несправедливым ничего, кроме заблуждения!»
а већ су многе довели у заблуду, па Ти неправеднима само заблуду повећај!“

তাদের পাপের কারণে তাদেরকে (দুনিয়াতে) ডুবিয়ে দেয়া হলো, অতঃপর আগুনে প্রবেশ করানো হলো। তারা নিজেদের সাহায্যকারী হিসেবে আল্লাহ ছাড়া আর কাউকে পায়নি।

თავიანთი ცოდვების გამო ისინი დაიხრჩვნენ (დიდი წარღვნის დროს), შემდეგ კი შეყვანილნი (იყვნენ) ცეცხლში. და მათ, ალლაჰის გარდა, ვერ იპოვეს დამხმარენი.
Wegen ihrer Verfehlungen wurden sie ertränkt und dann in ein (Höllen)feuer hineingebracht. So fanden sie für sich außer Allah keinen Unterstützer.
Λόγω των αμαρτιών τους πνίγηκαν, και εισάχθηκαν στο Πυρ. Και δεν βρήκαν υποστηρικτές (που να τους βοηθήσουν) αντί του Αλλάχ.
वे अपने पापों के कारण डुबो[8] दिए गए, फिर जहन्नम में डाल दिए गए, तो उन्होंने अल्लाह के सिवा अपने लिए कोई मदद करने वाले नहीं पाए।

25. Dėl savo nuodėmių jie buvo paskandinti ir įvesti į Ugnį, ir nerado jie sau priešais Allahą (jokių) padėjėjų.
Diliiwwan isaanii irraa kan ka'e, (addunyatti) bishaaniin nyaachifaman, (aakhiratti) ibidda seensifaman. Rabbiin malee tumsitoota isaaniif hin arganne.
За свои грехи они были потоплены, а затем ввергнуты в адский огонь. И они не нашли для себя, помимо Аллаха, помощников.

26. Ir Nūhas (Nojus) tarė: „Mano Viešpatie, nepalik žemėje netikinčiųjų gyventojų.
Nuuhiin ni jedhe: "Gooftaa kiyya! Kaafiroota irraa nama tokkollee dachii irratti hin dhiisin.
И Нух сказал: «Господь мой! Не оставляй на земле из числа отвергших веру ни одного обитателя.
И Ноје рече: „Господару мој, не остави на Земљи ниједног неверника,
Na Nuhu akasema: Mola wangu Mlezi! Usimwache juu ya ardhi mkazi wake yeyote katika makafiri!
Noa sa: ”Herre! Låt inte en enda otrogen bli kvar på jorden.
Nûh dedi ki: "Rabbim! Yeryüzünde dolaşan tek bir kâfir bile bırakma!''

ჭეშმარიტად, თუ შენ მათ დატოვებ, ისინი შეაცდენენ შენს მონებს და არ შობენ სხვას, გარდა ბოროტისა და ურწმუნოსი.
Denn wahrlich, wenn Du sie (leben) lässt, führen sie Deine Diener in die Irre und werden nur sittenlose und sehr hartnäckige Ungläubige zeugen.
Πράγματι, αν τους αφήσεις, θα παραπλανήσουν τους δούλους Σου (τους πιστούς), και δεν θα γεννήσουν κανέναν, παρά μόνο κακοποιούς άπιστους.
निःसंदेह यदि तू उन्हें छोड़े रखेगा, तो वे तेरे बंदों को पथभ्रष्ट करेंगे और दुराचारी एवं सख़्त काफ़िर ही को जन्म देंगे।

Воистину, если Ты оставишь их, они собьют с пути Твоих рабов и не породят никого, кроме распутного, отвергшего веру.
јер ако их оставиш, они ће Твоје слуге у заблуду да заводе и само ће грешника и неверника да рађају!
Hakika ukiwaacha watawapoteza waja wako, wala wao hawatazaa ila waovu makafiri.

This study consults no , no , no occasion of revelation and no biography: they are layers this platform does not hold or show.
How this set was arrived at. This is a study of one surah, so it carries every verse of it: every verse of Surah Nooh, from 71:1 to 71:28, each as its own passage with its own reason. No verse of the surah is left out, so none is recorded as not carried.
How the reading is divided. After a short reading of the whole surah, the reading takes the surah section by section. The sections are Tanzil's division of the text, from the Tanzil Project's Quran metadata; this study does not divide the surah itself, and each section is named by its verse range.
Verses carried by more than one study. Some passages here also serve another study. Each carries its own reason in each place, and the reason states where else it appears.
Where the renderings part company, named rather than resolved. How differently the translations word each verse is shown on that verse's page, and the study names the differences it turns on rather than choosing between them.
What this study does not answer about occasion, and which source would be needed. It does not say what occasioned the words to the one addressed about increasing the wrongdoers, or on what occasion any verse here was given: that would need an source (accounts of the occasions of revelation), a layer this platform does not hold or show. It offers no academic-historical reading either: this study holds no such scholarship. Each of those is an absence with a named cause, not an omission.
